Great saw cut down and cleared many clumps of dry bamboo hundreds of cuts. This 180 was so easy to maneuver in the tight stands at any angle.Bamboo isn’t very hard but it’s very tough and you need a good saw to get it done. The handle was excellent for my large hands didn’t slip once. Didn’t need two hands either due to the sharpness and design of teeth. No it doesn’t cut like butter sawing anything is work but with this saw I got the job done quicker. Also used it on some dry oak limbs and was smooth.I have a bahco Laplander same size but the Silky blows it away not even close. The blade is sturdy and only flexed on me once a tough ground level cut.I liked this one so much I bought a Silky Zobat 330.Didn’t need that one for this but what a great saw tooSome of my cheap saws have stayed sharp they use and abuse so the Silky be high grade should last for years.Gonna get another for my prep bag.

Silky Saws are wonderful. They are expensive though. You get what you pay for here. I would have liked, a case…as most Silky saws come…with a case ( of some type). Mine didn’t. When you shopping..for a Silky Saw, please do your research first. Determine what job/ task- you are going to do/ therefore as to determine ” what teeth”, you need. The Large teeth..cut ” bigger branches”, due to the size, and number of teeth per inch. I recommend if cutting limbs- always purchase a ” Curved” blade/ not straight!! This aids..in the ” Not Binding”- with limbs. Silky Saws good- but pricy!! Check out the ” Sammari” saw. Consider the handle ( way it formed/ made, for grip). Does it included a pouch? Is it a ” Full tang blade” ( blade goes full length- all way through handle)- or stops…right at the handle.

Folds up to protect the blade, super sharp, fits in my pocket easily. This saw will comfortably cut through 3-6 inch branches. My only wish is that the handle were thicker. Vigorous sawing has a little too much flexing of the handle for me. For light cutting, I would recommend this product.

Who needs a push/pull saw when you can save your arm muscles with a pull-saw that cuts through wood like butter! I just recently cut down a very large and overgrown lilac bush – a few of the trunk limbs were at least 3″ thick. This little saw made the whole experience fast and only “lightly” laborious. So, if you don’t have a chainsaw or just want to trim some branches quickly and painlessly – then get one of these saws!

Great little hand saw! Foldable and can go in my back pocket or in the small tool box onthe tractor. Sharper than a razor. I have never been disappointed with Silky products.

I earned the trail name Camp Saw due to this little life saver. A backpacking trip turned cold and rainy, but this saw made short order of some pretty large branches and logs, we had a roaring fire when everyone else had twigs. Well worth the 5.7 ounce carry, anytime we overnight it to an area allowing fires, this baby has a guaranteed spot in my pack. No sheath necessary, folds up with no exposed blade to damage other items. PS: you pull the saw to cut, if you push the blade will snap

I’m no landscaper, I just wanted something small and foldable for around the house and camper. I’m super impressed how well it cuts, weight, and ergonomics. The only flaw, but it’s worth losing a star, is that it doesn’t lock closed. At least have a detent like almost every folding knife blade that exists. Seems like a very easy thing to implement, especially with the way the lock already functions.

I love this saw! It truly is amazing! It cuts through branches like they’re barely even there! 100% would recommend!!

For as small and light as it is, very durable. Not a pro tree climber, but I use it enough. Worthwhile purchase.

Works like any silky saw cuts fast and amazing build is great and holds up fine if you use it as a Japanese saw is intended to be used let it cut for you and watch the saw dust pile grow
