This is one of the most comforting emollients I’ve ever used. The consistency is non-greasy but very moisturizing and absorbent. My senitive, dry skin feels so much more comfortable and better nourished after using this. But, I find that I need to layer 2 applications it because the liquid-cream absorbs so well. One characteristic that distinguishes this from other similar moisturizers (like, the thickest Eucerin) is its smell, which I intensely enjoy, but am at a loss to describe. I will purchase this as a gift for my elderly mother who is sure to take pleasure in it.

I have kp on my face. I use Sebamed Extreme Dry Repair Lotion as a night time moisturizer 5 nights out of the week. The other two nights I use Retin-A mixed with Clinique Dramatically Different. I can’t use the Retin-A every night or my skin will peel and flake. So I started using Sebamed for the 10% urea content. It’s healing and moisturizing while also combating dead skin. It’s perfect. I’ve recommended it to my mom and cousin as well as other friends and family members when they ask me what I use to deal with rough problematic skin. Love this stuff. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing and my favorite moisturizer for dry skin. Helped moisturize my legs so well and keeps my arms and elbows soft. My legs use to feel scaly before and nothing helped. This lasts all day and it doesn’t irritate skin, no heavy smellOr anything. I gave a bottle to my girls who have KP and it’s helped tremendously to where their arms feel so smooth. I need to buy more.

I was looking forward to getting this as I have been having a lot of skin problems for awhile and have tried many lotions. This seems to give me protection from dryness really well. However, last night I put in on my chest and I guess it was too close to my nose and I got very sensitive to the scentl which was not pleasant and eventually gave me a headache until I washed it off my chest. The scent itself is not bad but I was sensitive to the scent whcih I am by most anything that is not a natural scent.

This product might work but I’m not totally sure- no one in my house can get past the incredibly strong “baby powder” smell. It’s also a little slimy feeling. I could probably handle the feel of it if it worked and was fragrance free. We will never know.

I have psoriasis and eczema. So hard to find something that works on both. This stuff is a dream come true for eczema- my arms and legs are amazing! Psoriasis is a bit tougher but it helps contain the itch which usually drives me crazy. I fully recommend this if you have “tried it all” like I have.

This is a very thick moisturizer! I was surprised because the Sebamed face cream with urea has a much lighter texture.It was hard to spread and didn’t absorb well into my skin. I’m going to try diluting it with some jojoba oil, but I don’t think I would repurchase.
