We use this retractable leash all day long, we clip it to a carabiner on our deck to allow our 20lb pup to go do what he needs to do in the yard several times a day. We have wildlife and he pulls on it constantly, I was hoping for maybe six months of use. Two years later and it is still just as good as day one, highly impressed with the quality. I just bought a second one as a backup because someday this thing will die and I want to be ready.

I have RA, so I don’t need any extra weight in my hands. We’ve used several different brands of retractable leashes. They’ve mostly had the ribbon style leash. The last one went a couple years without twisting and jamming up in the casing. Also with leashes if this type, if I fumbled the thing and it dropped, the whole thing took off chasing our poor little Morkie. Freaked her out. Couple times it made contact, and I felt SO guilty!So this time we wanted to try this cable type leash. I love that it has about 1 1/2 foot of ribbon that stops the casing from getting near her if I were to drop it. That, in and of itself sold me. This has very good reviews. And the cable seems less likely to tangle inside it. We also like the feel of it.Well, you know nothing lasts forever, but we both like the feel of it. We’re pleased with it and have hopes it will also give us at least two more years. We’ve only taken her out with it a couple times, but so far I recommend.I hope no

Purchased this 26 foot Flexi leash and used it immediately. Adopted a rescue dog and she needed to run.My rescue dog pulled the leash out of my hand because I dropped my glove and took off through the woods. She stopped when the leash tangled in the tree branches. I untangled the leash and the cord slid back into the plastic case. The plastic case had unsnapped. Applied pressure to snap case back together and the leash has performed as well as before with a few cosmetic scrapes on the outside. Very durable!

It is awesome in every way.It feels high quality, not cheap & flimsy.I have an 8lb puppy and use this for walks & taking her out to potty train.It’s long so she can run & feel freedom.The lock mechanism is great and helps me control where she goes. Highly recommend!

Other larger sizes had too strong of a pull for our 2.5 lb toy poodle. This 16 ft Small is perfect – it allows our dog to easily run, and our dog can stand comfortably in one spot without having to pull against the retracting force. The handle opening is on the smaller size – my hand fits in it, but it is a little tight for large hands.

This leash is perfect, it’s heavy duty, it retracts like butter, and it has one of the longest leash lengths I’ve ever seen. This leash is German engineering at it’s finest, I haven’t had a single problem so far with this leash.

I recently lost my previous leash, and hesitated buying another. I’m glad I did, this leash is high quality and doesn’t bind. I love the rope because it doesn’t twist and get stuck in the handle. Very easy to use, quick and easy to lock/unlock. It works so easy that it doesn’t even seem like there’s a dog attached to the other end.. lol!Anyway, I really love this leash, I would highly recommend it for those with small dogs. 🙂

I bought 4 leashes to try and this is my favorite so far. The rope is better at releasing and retracting compared to normal “ribbon” leashes. The lock mechanism is nice and it doesn’t make any sound going in and out.My only two issue is a “ring” on the rope has already loosened in less than a week and I also don’t know how much I trust the rope not to break. It’s 26 feet long so when my dog takes off to run I keep wondering if the rope will snap or not. Time will tell and I can update in the future.

We have owned two of these leashes – they last forever (our dog is now 12 and we just bought the second) and are great quality.

The quality appears good. The buttons work and are well placed. However, this model has a pretty thin string as shown. So if you ever need to grab the leash should your dog run or lunge it is difficult to grip which means you have to squeeze tighter so you may end up with rope burns on your fingers. We returned this.
