Really dim. Stuck with them for a month but night driving with these was unsafe. Swapped them out for Sylvania Silver Star Ultra's. No comparison!

The price is good but the Illumination of the road is only marginally brighter than the OEM ones. Bulb life is rated quite low in comparison the the OEM so I will try a different bulb next time.

These are not halogen, but my Golf had the dimmest low beams on any car I've owned since the 60's.These OSRAM bulbs make a huge difference. I waited till one bulb blew out to replace both... Dont wait this is the best upgrade you can make at 1/10th of the price for replacement Lights.

The OSRAM Night Breaker Laser bulbs are the brightest headlights I've found so far. Although Sylvania is owned by OSRAM, the Night Breaker Laser bulbs appear to be brighter and definitely cheaper than the best Sylvania bulb that I usually buy from Wallyworld. Longevity will be the issue since I frequently get new bulbs from Sylvania since they carry a 1 year warranty and they don't last that long. I don't believe the OSRAM bulbs carry a similar warranty which could explain the price difference. However being able to see at night is the most important concern. I may come back and rate the longevity once I see how long they last. Ease of installation is the same regardless of brand so I didn't rate it either.
