Update: After 3 weeks of use the bearings on the right pedal were making all sorts of annoying noises. Already need a new set.Disclaimer: This is my first pair of Look pedals, I've always used SPDs. I needed new cycling shoes and thought I would start using Look pedals. I grabbed these cause the price point was good and the reviews were as well. I put them on my Peloton and the right pedal bearings were noisy at first use. I also noticed that the tension adjuster doesn't really hold the cleats tight. At max setting, I still have some space and wiggle room between cleat and pedal. Not too bad, but noticeable if you tend to pull as much as push on your cycling motion. The other thing that surprised me was how much float there was with the grey cleats the pedals come with. I had to swap out with black pedals which are supposed to have 0 float, but there still is a small amount. Maybe that is because all the parts are plastic, maybe that is just what I am used to with

The media could not be loaded. Like many in the past year, I'm new to cycling so this is my first time trying clipless pedals. I first bought the SHIMANO Unisex – Adult's PD-RS500 (costs the same $60) and after my first indoor ride a yellow rubber tab on the right cleat ripped (not off, but enough to where the cleat would need to be replaced). A friend suggested LOOK keo and I should have listened the first time but now I see the light.As you can see from the pictures the cleats on the Keo are a little more compact but also have less protrusion of the rubber and with a larger surface contact of attachment meaning there's less stress points and fewer points of shearing. Keep in mind that the rubber I'm speaking of is hard rubber and it will just shear or break as opposed to being ductile. The keo cleats from what I've seen are generally cheaper when buying replacements also.The pedal itself does seem a lot flimsier than the Shimano pedal which seems to be made of

I was torn between these and the Shimano 105 pedals, but decided to go with the more budget friendly Look pedals in the end. I'm pleased with my purchase, but don't really have any similar pedals to compare them to as these are my first clip-in pedals of this type. Unlike other bike pedals I've purchased, these adhere to the spindles by tightening with a typical 8mm Allen wrench; perhaps beneficial to those who don't want to splurge on a bike pedal wrench or don't have one, but kind of obnoxious that it doesn't come with such a wrench: I had to dive through my basement box of old Allen keys and fortunately found one. After that, installation was easy. The clip system feels snug on the included cleats, and it's easy enough to clip in and out. I've noticed these have more float (left/right rotation allowance) than previous clipless systems I've tried, so keep that in mind while making your decision. The cleats are plastic, and have become a bit beaten up already after just a few weeks of riding: specifically, the more rubbery stick on pieces on my left shoe fell off almost immediately (I use that foot to "push off" from a dead start which I think wore down the glue pretty quick). If you're really *really* into weight savings these aren't the lightest, but likely you wouldn't be looking in this price point anyway. For the money I'd say these can't be beat.

Replaced pedals on my new Echelon EX5 indoor exercise bike so I could use these Look cleats. So easy to clip in and out! Echelon EX5 pedals use SPD cleats. Impossible to clip-in to pedal because cage on underside spins pedal as I tried to clip-in. And SPD cleats are so small compared to larger Look cleats that provide much more stability and power. (One of the alleged benefits of SPD cleats is the ability to walk around in your bike shoes because of their smaller size. Because I’m I’m riding indoors at home, I DON’T CARE!). So glad I bought this product. Great price for high quality pedals AND cleats.

Compared to other LOOK style pedals this is clearly on the lower end. The pedals scuff easy and the tension doesn't quite stay. I find myself adjusting the tension on the right pedal and it's been less than a year of use. I made add some Loctite to the threads to ensure the tension doesn't move.These pedals are heavy, bulky, and easy to damage from constant use. They were great for what I needed them for which was to get my cycling on my road bike but looking back, I got what I paid for. Once these wear out which I suspect will be in a year or less, I would invest in something more durable.

High quality. I bought a pair for my road bike and a pair for my NordicTrack S22i.These will work on spin bikes as they are the standard 9/16 thread. But they tighten with an Allen/Hex wrench (8mm) in the back side. Most spin bikes tighten with a bolt on the front side . Clearance was an issue on my NordicTrack S22i so I had to use a “stubby” Hex wrench.

these are awful cleats. even when clicked in and the tension turned up you never feel truly connected to the bike. under load the cleats/pedals would click. after 20 or so miles my feet always went numb. cleat position adjustments made no difference. loosening of shoes didn't help. i want back to my speedplays and all numbness went away. that connected feeling returned. these are clicky plastic garbage. might be good for a newby but after a while you'll want a better connection to the bike.
No need to LOOK for any other pedals

I just got into cycling, like actual road bikes not just recreational stuff here and there, and did a lot of research into pedal/cleat systems. Firstly, pedals make a huge difference. If you're on the fence do it, you wont regret it. These pedals come with the corresponding cleats, so you just need to correct shoes.These are great because they wont break the bank and they are still one of the most recommended pedals out there. Look has an amazing reputation for cycling gear and even their "cheaper" stuff holds up. I've put a few hundred miles so on them and haven't had any issues.I would 1000% recommend these to anyone looking to get a nice set of pedals at a good price.
The best pedal system on the market. Also affordable!

Superb pedals. They are light, spin freely and install with an 8mm Allen wrench so you don’t need a pedal wrench. Look pedals/cleats are easy to clip in/out of and give you a wider platform to transform energy to the cranks than an SPD or Speedplay pedal, and they are not clunky to walk in like SPD-SL. Personally I prefer the black cleats with no “float” because I don’t like my feet to pivot left or right unless I’m unclipping, but the grey ones that come with the pedals are okay as well. Give these a try and I think you’ll be very happy with them. I cycle all over the US and France is this is my second set of Look pedals. I won’t use anything else.
