Spend a bit more and get the gatorskins if you can, these have virtually 0 puncture protection. I could probably look at these tires the wrong way and they'd get a flat. Sucks because they actually ride pretty decent.Purchased these and installed same day I got them. I was replacing and old pair of panaracer tires with these. Looked up some reviews and these seemed to be ok and within budget so pulled the trigger. The first ride I did with these got a puncture/flat on rear tire, so within the first 30 minutes of my ride there I am stuck patching my new tire smh. The ride itself was only a total of 35 miles so not a very long ride, all of which is on a commuter trail that is fully paved. The worst thing on the trail is maybe a twig or rock, or something of that sort. I chalk it up to bad luck then proceed to patch it no biggie, and finish my ride. Two days later i decide to go out again, and guess what? yup that's right, ANOTHER FLAT/puncture, this time on the 2nd
The best value 700c x 28

For the price, you can’t beat these tires. Comparing to Gatorskins or Panaracer tires, these are just as durable. I have 700c x 28’s on my Poseidon Fixed Gear/Single Speed. 28 is the widest I could fit, otherwise I’d go for 32 or even 35. Ride is a very comfortable at 80psi
Great fit and performance!

Easy to put on and makes it feel like a completely different riding experience! Make sure to inflate to 100 psi and your bike will feel like a high performance bike. I put these on a $200 Walmart road bike and can't believe the difference this one change makes. Wish I'd done it sooner.
Smaller than advertised

Full inflated size in 26.3mm. For me that is ok. My 2005 Trek is listed as max tire size if 25mm. These fit with about 2mm clearance on rear. A full 28mm wouldn’t have fit. I bought and returned a pair of these listed as 25mm. Those measured 23mm fully inflated.Other than size, quality and durability is good.
Make the switch to 700x28s!!

My first impression once installed was like, wow. My first impression during and after my first ride was, what did I do and why did I change from 25s to 28s.... My gearing and shifting felt off, too hard and could not find the right rhythm. I was thinking about going back to 25s when I caught up to two cyclist at 17mph. We then move to 21 mph and that's when the 28s made sense. 28s roll faster, are smoother feeling over bumps, more stable, less twitchy than the 25s. My second ride was wonderful and now all my rides on the 28s just are amazing. I would recommend going to 28s from 25s.
worked as advertised

Good product
Way under spec - Tire claims to be 28mm but is only 26mm wide

One star for false advertising. You would think that due to a higher demand for larger wider tires in the past 5 years that a mega company like Continental could get it right. This tire I purchased claims to be 700-28mm tire but it is actually a 26mm wide tire which is way under spec. If I wanted 26mm I would have bought a 25mm because many tires spec a bit larger. Most tires spec correctly or larger. See pics above. Very disappointed in Continental and supplier for not stating this in their store ad. Will be returning.

Was upgrading my vintage Cannondale R900 and wanted new tires. I been using the Ultra Sports II since 2015 so thought I’d get those, to my surprise they no longer make the Sport II. They had changed the tread designs for these III versions. Honestly I prefer the II versions solely for its tread designs. But these are new versions, why not try it.These tires are some of the nicest ones, I end up grabbing a set of 28c. It’s still a great set for the price, $55. Idk about longevities yet not it’s durability but my old set of Sports II took me close to 2900 miles before I needed a new set bad. These tires have nice treads as well. It grips the road so well I never felt swayed by hard turns. I’ll see how long these last before I change up a new set.
Good price, crappy product.

Good price, crappy product. I'm on my forth flat since i bought these tires not even two months ago and I'm mostly riding on well maintained city streets with designated bike lanes. My advice: spend a little more money and get yoursef a better tire. I'm definitely NOT buying these again.
