THe OEM HID Xenon bulb for Jeep Grand Cherokees at half the dealer price!Headlight burned out. Dealer wanted $475 to replace. That’s crazy. Parts counter wanted $238 for the bulb alone. That’s still crazy. Pulled the dead bulb out and it was Osram 6340HBI. Bingo. Watched a few YouTube videos and changed it myself. Took about 35 minutes doing it for the first time. I could do it in half the time the next time around.

These are not OSRAM Originals as the listing says. These lack the OSRAM trust label that is listed on the OSRAM website.

I have a 2015 Overland Grand Cherokee, and this light bulb works great. It seems to be the exact match for the original one.

It took me forever to determine what a true OEM replacement part would be. My SUV manufacturer used both Philips and Osram during their production runs. Both brands are well-reviewed so I went with Osram mainly because it was available with Prime and Philips was not (at least at the time). Also, my OEM was 4300K color and for a few dollars more Osram had this 4600K so I figured why not. For such a small product, it takes a lot of effort to make sure you’re getting genuine replacements, too, and not some gray market part or knockoff. Amazon really needs to do a better job with vetting their inventory and giving buyers confidence. Fortunately, both Osram and Philips have ways on their website to verify that the part you received in the box is genuine. This part installed just fine. The only difference between my OEM Philips bulb was that Osram uses a metal collar at the base of the bulb. Philips used plastic. I appreciated the high quality metal but it meant that i

One of my lights died and this is the one that was in my 2017 Jeep Cherokee. It also passed genuine test on the manufacturers website. It’s pricey but cheaper and faster then buying from the manufacturer online.

There are a lot of fakes in the headlight biz. This one came with the Osram trust code that allows two factor verification through the Osram website. The first validates the trust code and provides you with a bulb number to look for on the bulb itself, so you know what is in the box is the legit item. Got it installed and the 4 year guarantee is nice to have. I have been burned by the cheap knockoffs in the past, spend the money and get the real deal and save yourself a lot of frustration.

Worked like a king! Saved 40% over what dealership offered. Grand Cherokee 2015.

Color tone, brightness and broadcast appears to be much like the OEM. What I don’t like is it’s limited broadcast reach to the far right (right side bulb installed) which I’m guessing is more a function of the Ford F-150 lamp housing design focusing the beam mostly straight ahead. Therefore, making a sharp right hand turn has one driving into a dark, blind environment. You’d hit anything in that direction of travel before the cast of light beam would shine on it. Not good, not safe. The only safe way to avoid this problem is very, very, very slow right or left hand turns which is usually not realistic.

Unfortunately, these were the most difficult headlights to install. No fault of the headlights though. Ford Escape Titanium has you take apart the whole front to gain easy access. The headlights themselves are bright and are the correct replacement. Never thought I’d be paying so much for low beam lights but the cost for 2 was cheaper than the cost for 1 from the auto parts store.

The original HID headlamp bulbs in my car had reached the end of their life. They would light up and, in a few minutes, would go out. Not so good for night driving! The new lamps were delivered in one day and promptly installed. One side took just a few minutes to install while the other required removing the engine air cleaner assembly to access the headlight assembly. I didn’t realize how dim the old bulbs had become. The new German-made Osram bulbs are really bright.
