Description
High quality set of L-keys for hexagonal socket screws in a practical clip made of wear-free material for lasting secure retention of the L-keys, with easy removal when required. Hex-Plus L-keys provide larger contact surfaces on the screw head. The notching effect is thereby reduced to a minimum; the destruction of the screw head is almost eliminated. The ball on the long arm allows safe working even in difficult mounting positions. The Black Laser surface treatment provides excellent surface protection, corrosion resistance and long life. Laser coated abrasion-resistant size markings on the L-keys for quick access. Only real complaint with these is the holder thing. You can’t quickly do anything with it. Especially annoying when you don’t know exact size you need and need to try a couple. Fumbling around getting them in and out sucks.The actual hex wrenches though are great. Colors are great, hex plus is great. Really nothing to complain about.

These immediately feel different once you apply any force to the fastener. There is no springiness, like I’ve gotten used to as a regular hex key minutely deforms the head of the bolt. There’s just a very positive “wall” and you feel the torque in your hand much more directly.A lot of times manufacturers will come up with an easily patentable gimmick to differentiate their product, but the “hex plus” keys from Wera are the real deal.

Colorful, well packaged and right sized for my bike projects.These are expensive for a set of Allen keys, but I have the larger set of these at work (that I didn’t have to pay for) that’s so handy I couldn’t help getting a smaller set for home.It’s the color standouts and easy to read labels. The holster that opens or folds to make individual keys easier to grab. The ball ends that forgive me for not catching the bolt face correctly.Can I do the job with a tool that costs 1/4 of this set? Absolutely. But these, I enjoy using.
