High quality l-key set out of stainless steel for hexagon socket screws by Wera. Stainless steel prevents the transfer of extraneous rust. The hex-plus profile offers a greater contact surface in the head of the screw. The notching effect is therefore reduced to a minimum and damage to the screw head more or less eliminated. Come with hex ballpoint on the long Arm: the ballpoint drive profile means that it is possible to swivel the tool axis away from the Screw driving axis, thus enabling “round the corner” Screw driving. “Take it easy” tool Finder: color coding according to size. In an almost wear-free l-key clip fastener.
The Hex-Plus profile offers larger contact surfaces in the head. The notch effect is reduced to a minimum and the destruction of the head is almost eliminated. With a hexagonal ball head on the long leg: The spherical output profile enables the tool axis to be deflected or swiveled relative to the axis so that it can be fixed”around the corner”.
L-key with plastic coating (SPKL) are made of easy-to-grip round material. The coating makes work comfortable and safe even at low temperatures. All L-keys are quickly at hand thanks to their color coding and size identification.
Wera Hex-Plus tools have larger contact surfaces in the bolt head. The notch effect and thus the deformation of the bolt are reduced. At the same time, up to 20% higher torques can be transmitted.
The wear-free material of the clip ensures that the angle wrench is held securely while at the same time being easy to remove.
hexagon socket bolts are problematic because the contact surfaces through which the force is transmitted from the tool to the bolts are very narrow. The result: the head can be destroyed. Hex-Plus tools have larger contact surfaces that prevent this. Good to know: Hex-Plus tools fit into every standard Allen .
9 pieces, in a two-component clip.. Design: stainless steel, hose-sheathed. All L-keys are quickly at hand thanks to their color coding and size identification. Output: Hex-Plus, hexagonal ball head on the long arm.

I always wait to review purchases until I have been using them for more than a few months. I work in a bike shop full time and these tools get used more frequently than any other. I have sliding t-handles and P-handle hex keys but Wera always gets used. These keys hold up very well and the special shaped head they have works very well even in worn hex bolts. The only real downside I can find with this key set is how the thick sleeve on each tool makes them difficult to get in and out of the holder but that is rarely a concern given since I use them too frequently to even bother with the holder.Personally I love the thick rubber sleeve because it actually serves a great purpose. When I have a overly tight quick release I can use the key as a lever against the frame and the sleeve prevents any scratching. The heads show no noticeable wear even after months of heavy use. I would argue the 10mm key is unnecessary for my needs as anything requiring that size bolt wil

It’s interesting that these hex wrenches seem to fit better than any other hex wrenches I’ve ever had. I can’t quite figure that out. It seems like the size should be the size and everything should fit the same. This is really expensive but amazing quality. If your fork out the box you won’t be disappointed

I use these daily to work on bicycles. The Hex Plus shape is the killer feature and it’s well worth the price of admission. I have yet to strip a single bolt, where as it use to happen somewhat regularly with my old hex set. They also get marginal, damaged bolts loose that I used to find very problematic. The color-coded sleeves have really grown on me, and make me more efficient when reaching for the size I need.Visually I cant see any signs of wear to the tool heads after many months of use. Here are the downsides: the colored plastic sleeves are a lot wider than the toolhead itself, and sometimes they won’t reach into a long, narrow holes. For this reason, I have to keep a second set of keys on hand. The sleeves insulate from magnets really well and make it difficult to hang them on a magnetic tools organizer. The lettering on the sleeves are almost completely gone already, (but you get used to the color codes so no big deal), however I feel they should be

As far as the product goes it is exactly as described. A compact set of l keys that are very handy to have around. There was a hiccup with my order not being delivered, while showing that it was. I contacted Matt (the seller) and he said he’d put another set out next week when his resupply came in. It took a little longer than that, but Matt was contacting me to let me know and offering a refund evertime we talked. The true measure of a company is how they act when things are going wrong. They clearly passed the test. Thanks, Matt!

Got these in, and they match the Wera website description perfectly. All these savants in the reviews with low scores obviously have no idea how to verify things in real life.Used them today, and they work as intended.

These Wera tools are pricey but the quality is outstanding. I’ve purchased several different kits and been very happy with all of them.

These have got to be the best Allen wrenches I’ve ever seen so far, and I have tried many. Very solid. Feels like this may be the last set I need. ?

Best L-key set I’ve used, the ball tip allow you to screw at an angle and the holder is a rubber that locks them in well (tight at first but they loose up enough with time so that it is not a struggle to remove)
