This fixed my car but looks like someone else tried it before me and amazon sold it to me as if it were in “New” condition. My 2010 VW CC 2.0t has been giving me “system too lean at idle” message and CEL for years and I finally decided to try this. I’ll summarize some symptoms I was experiencing and if you have similar problems, I would definitely recommend replacing this part first.(1) the CEL only shows up during warm seasons. During winters I never had any problem but shortly after the weather warms up, the CEL would come on.(2) loss of power. My car would accelerate rather slowly, even the gas pedal has been pushed pretty good. I have to note that the car was not seriously lacking power but the lag in acceleration was noticeable.(3) car kind of shakes while at idle. My car shakes a little at red lights, I’m not sure if this is related to PCV.The reason I’m giving this product 4 stars only is that the box I received appeared to have been opened an

Pleased. This is OE Mfg. Factory Part in VW Box…This is a critical part on 2.0T Engine. Don’t buy junk or skimp in this case. Although expensive, I chose to replace the two plastic lines that fit to this also. Best price I found with shipping. Thank You!

I bought the part for my 2012 volkswagen tiguan 2.0tsi, which was experiencing misfires, especially on cold starts. I ordered this because the pcv is not a part to skimp on. To my chagrin, the part that arrived was not an oem volkswagen part, but instead had VAICO stamped on it. I installed it anyways, and the problem persisted. So I went to a dealership and bought an actual oem part, and the misfires went away. So instead of a “genuine volkswagen pcv” I guess I received a aftermarket part that was faulty. And I’m not pleased.

Changed pcv now getting new codes I didn’t have before. The new codes are p2187 and p0010

I got a few error codes when the engine light came on the wife’s 2012 tiguan side. A p2187 and p0299 code popped up. With 86k miles, and a common issue with these engines I figured I might as well replace it and a few other things that it was due for. I called two local stealerships and both wanted about 215 -235 for the part. This looks to be OEM genuine new VW/Audi part and arrived in a boxed VW part box. With next day delivery and half the cost…I couldn’t be happier. Essentially, there are 9 (plus 1) T30 bolts to remove. The only issue that I had was removing the connectors from the coil packs which you have to do to access and remove the PCV unit. I had to do it anyway since I was replacing coils and spark plugs.

The part came in a light cardboard box, in an unsealed plastic sleeve, this was not the usual long term storage and shipping method for spare parts that I am accustomed to, so it surprised me. Box did appear to be legit and part too. I had researched the latest part numbers for this part and the AH at the end of the part number indicated this. There is in addition to the VW and Audi logo, the manufacturer Kengst automotive. These logos, manufacturer’s production stamps, typesets, appearance and quality, all matched in appearance the original part that I replaced, this part I received (see photo) is not a fake or refurbished part.Installation was easy, there are enough YouTube videos out there. No leaks, took it for a 500 mile with zero issues.

Exact part number came as advertised. Was able to install quickly and easily by watching the YouTube video on it. 10 bolts and two tubes, less than 15min of actual work.

It just worked the way it supposed to. I had 20 codes appeared when connected to engine light scanner at Oreilly. All were pointing to PCV valve. So I ordered, received in 3 days, carefully installed. To my surprise, engine light and low oil warning light is gone. Audi quoted me $715 for that.

Reduced by ltft to less than %7 before being round 35% which means the air leak was def. the pcv. There was a hole in the old pcv rubber dome thing. Hopefully this one lasts. Easy DIY don’t pay your dealer $700 to do this 30min job

Was pleasantly surprised with its direct fit on my 2009 VW CC. It was a super easy swap in and took about 20 minutes to do with very limited mechanical expertise on my part. Glad to find this piece at 1/3 OEM pricing did the trick.
