    Which knife they use. Every single one of them recommended this knife by Victoriknox. It is a Swiss made knife that was manufactured under another name a few years back . However when I ordered it I thought it was kind a very light weight and cheap feeling But once I used it I understood why they all use only this knife. Now it is my favorite knife.

    This knife was highly rated by a chef’s TV program for quality and value. I purchased one a few years ago and decided to get another one to add to my drawer before it became no longer available for some reason. It is the sharpest knife I have and is the “go to” knife for many applications. I couldn’t recommend a better knife. I’ve purchased several other more expensive knives in the past and this one remains the best if it is properly sharpened and maintained.

    Basically the title, the knife just arrived and it barely has an edge. Dull knives are dangerous to use in any context – the kitchen is no exception – so we can’t even use it yet. Pretty worthless as-is, and made worse by the fact that this was supposed to be a gift – not just frustrating, but embarrassing to give someone you care about an item that turns out to be useless at the one thing it’s designed to do.Apparently these are supposed to be good knives, but just know that you’re rolling the dice if you order one. Hopefully you get one that was sharpened first.

    I haven’t used it yet, so my review is only based on how the product arrived to me. Wrapped in bubble wrap. A large, sharp knife just wrapped in bubble wrap. I have no idea how to present this to someone as a gift. lol

    I love, love, love this knife. We had a subscription to America’s Test Kitchen and they recommended this knife and its been a favorite since. We get others this as a gift because it’s such a great knife. My husband is a chef and we use them in our restaurant and at home.
