I’m a big proponent of theory vs. reality, as in how things are different between the drawing board and actual real-life practice. This tube is a perfect example of theory differing from reality. This tube weighs even less than advertised, 27.5″ version is only 44 grams! 1.5 oz; most tubes are 9 ounces. That’s awesome…if it works, of course. This tube is so flimsy that it’s hard to even wrap it around the tire rim. It doesn’t bend and stretch like rubber/butyl tubes. There is no real steel valve, just a plastic one prone to leaking. And don’t even try to pump it up a bit before inserting into a tire: the weakest part of the tube will blow up like a balloon and deform the tube. You have to put in the tube completely flat and then pump it up. Bought two of them, first one failed during installation, 2nd one failed after exactly 22 miles on pavement/dirt sidewalks, not even on real fire roads or trails!!! And I had sealant inside too, didn’t help. Just think of if I was really riding offroad, over thorns and rocks and small drops and everything else, probably would have lasted 2.2 miles instead of 22 miles. Waste of money. Maybe they are OK for a backup tube, but personally I’ll carry a real 9 oz 27.5″ tube with a real steel valve stem. Because when you get a flat outside of your garage, you want to fix it right and get back on the bike ASAP, and not mess with a crappy tube, that’s the worst, especially if you are in a remote area. I never thought I’d be so happy to order normal tubes again lol.

I absolutely love this for a spare carry as I run tubeless one my MTB. Can’t say how they work as I haven’t had to use it yet…

I’ve received the Tubolito and was surprised at just how small and light it is. I haven’t had to use it, so I can’t comment on it’s quality, but it’s size is fantastic.

Got this tube today and already installed. Nice and lightweight. I am just curious about the fact that the tube is two times strong than the normal tubes….., i hope it will survive some kilometers….

I was skeptical when it showed up. It’s basically the thickness of a child’s balloon animal. One pass around the block and the 1 goat head in the tire popped the tube. If you have stickers/goat heads…look for something else.
