I’ve been using a full Topeak quik-track rack for two years, and was happy when I finally saw that this was released so I could use the nice rack that came with my new road bike. It is hard to get on 100% strait, but I’ve been using it for several months and have not noticed any of the other issues mentioned in reviews. My main issue is that the plastic track of this item and the plastic rail of the bag cause lots of sticking. I *could* throw some bike grease in there but then its going to be on the bottom of my bag and get everywhere. The metal track of the full rack is much less of a problem for sticking. This is only an issue when putting the bag on, so I would still recommend it if you like the rack you have.

This adapter is designed for up to 120MM rack – yet on the Polaris Townie 5i Go – my rear rack is 140MM. I’ve seen others make brackets out of metal, but I went with the zip tie method. Just 6 black zip ties. One on each “foot” and then two more thru the center holes on top. In the first pic you can see the ties before I tightened them down. Attached to the forward bar and rear bar. After attached can’t see anything, and seems very sturdy. With the bag attached I picked up the entire bike and shook it around a bit. Very secure.

I had purchased the Topeak MTX trunk bag for my bike a couple of years ago. Now have a Trek e bike that came with an MLK back rack. This omni adapter fit easily over the rack and attached securely.

….doesnt work with a standard RAD 5 rear rack without a zip-tie rig job. Shipped faster than expected

Works well, but requires some modifications if you have a Lectric XP. The 2 included mounting brackets are to short to reach across Lectrics rack, 1st picture.Open the brackets to the widest point then tighten the screws. Now remove the 4 cap screws on the Lectric rack, then push the Omni brackets on to the screws mounting points. The Lectric cap screws are to short to secure the brackets. You’ll need four 5mm x .80 metric bolts 20 – 25 mm long, get CAP bolts. (2nd picture)Mount the Omni rack using the hole closest to the orange latch using the forward hole. You will need to drill a hole for the rear bracket in the Omni rack. I used the cardboard that came with the Omni rack to make a template. Poke a hole and insert a bolt in the forward hole thru the cardboard in to the forward bracket, then use a sharp object like a punch or drill bit to punch a hole for the rear mount. Works great if you pay attention to make sure the hole you drill is in the center of the Om

Works well with my Topeak bag on my Aventon Level ebike. I had to improvise mounting it to the rack. I used zip ties to secure it & it is firmly attached.

Look if you absolutely need to adapt a bag to a rack than I guess you have to buy this but it is criminally overpriced. It is a piece of plastic and a few bolts and I cannot fathom why it’s $50. This is truly a 15 to $20 item.

Really tried to get this installed on the rack on my REI CTY e2.2 ebike. Couldn’t make it work. The adapter plate clamps can extend to the dimensions of the rack but the configuration of the rack does not allow the clamps to fit into the rack correctly to tighten the clamps to the rack. The adapter plate would work just fine with a compatible rack.
