Description

The pro 10 – the perfect pedal for road cyclists, from enthusiasts to competitive athletes. The body of this pedal has been reinforced thanks to a new design and a more durable carbon material. Power transfer and stability are improved with a pedal surface of 725mm2 – 25mm2 larger than the Xpresso (700mm2). the lower fairing was created to improve aerodynamics and protect the carbon blade. The Iclic system has been redesigned to allow for a more positive cleat engagement and to be more comfortable. The adjustable carbon blade has 3 positions of clip-fin tension. Like the Xpresso, the stack height is low, keeping the cyclist’s sole as close to the center of the pedal axle as possible. This, along with the large pedal surface area results in incomparable pedalling efficiency and comfort.

been a fan of time pedals for many years for the float which saves my knees and how they don’t flip up side down like others. Yes the cleats ware out fast if walked on much but i had to carry extra Look cleats too on long events like Ride the Rockies so for me i will take less knee pain and monitor my cleat ware.

I had a pair of Shimano Ultegra clipless pedals and struggled getting my feet in and out. These things are insanely easy to do both. The pedal tracks where it was unclipped from, so it goes right back in at the proper part of your pedal stroke.I have gone on three rides so far (35, 35, and 45 miles) and am convinced these are the best for me. I cannot comment on the cleat wear.

I bought these when they were at $120 so at basically $110, they’re an even better deal that cyclists should consider if they’re looking at Shimano or Look pedals. I’ve put in around 3 weeks of indoor trainer use with Trainerroad workouts. No complaints with ease of clicking in and out of the pedals. Good float. No joint pains in any of the sessions which is good as I’ve historically always had a left knee joint pain flare up with bad pedal positioning. Because of the wide platform, there is not hotspot flare up and it feels stable when putting down the power when standing or sprinting. Overall, great pedal and, for the price, would consider as one of your pedal choices if shopping around.

Work as expected. The price is good and I was not worried about the weight. I didn’t want to spend what I had spent on my old expressos, which were way nicer but more expensive. Always liked the loud click from Time pedals. I can lean my bike on any surface and not worry about scraping the replaceable plastic bottom cover.

contrary to other reviews, I felt these took a lot of effort to clip in and out of, at all tension settings. once in, they felt secure but they seemed to require quite a bit of lateral movement to unclip them. I feel like the Ultegra pedals I have are easier to get in and out of and more secure overall. in addition, the Times have ‘firmer’ bearings causing the pedals to not rotate easily, making it difficult to find the point of contact and click in. this is also the result of them not being weighted due to their feathery weight., which is super. they also look cool in graphite carbon and the price is reasonable. they were just not for me.

I rode look for 20+ yrs – moved to Time after I started to have knee problems and fixed it instantly as it has lateral float which is what my knee needed. It still rotates like a look but has adjustable Q factor as well. I have one pair on my training bike in basement and one on my road bike for IRL training. Lighter pedal than my look but the cleat is bigger on the time so they even out.

Excelent grip and easy to lose.

Been riding Speedplays for over 20 years. Was concerned about making a change. No regrets. Great pedals!!

Great pedals right out of the box. Now, just because I’ve used Time and only Time pedals since 1987 and never had any problems that outweigh the fact that they are the only brand I’ve ever found with the necessary float to keep your knees from falling apart from year after year of continuous racing and training, doesn’t mean I didn’t review these completely objectively. For example, I made sure the colors worked with my bike, I made sure that they complemented my white cycling shoes, and that I could click in and out. Then I rode them 100 miles the day I installed them. then another hundred, then several more over the following 4 months. No problems, no complaints. Take my advice, find the right seat and the right pedals, nothing else – frames, groups, brands – really matters. It’s those two touch points that drive the bike, if they’re happy, you’re happy. For me, it comes down to float and to axle height – Time pedals have tons of float (adjustable) and a low a
