Tesa’s newest and most advanced high heat tape for the engine compartment. Rated to 150C and has the most advanced adhesive in the market. Used by the major Euro car manufacturers such as Mercedes, BMW, Audi, and VW. This tape should not be confused with the fleece tapes sold by other vendors and other lesser grade of tapes. This is the finest high heat tape on the market. This is the finest high heat tape direct from Hamburg, Germany.

This TESA wrap tape is the best that I’ve found. It is thinner than most and so easy to work with, stretches just enough for a smooth wrap on the diagonal wrap but also allows straightening out for the final ending 2 wraps. It is just sticky enough that if it sticks to itself you can easily separate it, yet it still will stick and seal down tight over time. To store it long term without it drying out you might want to seal it in a 4mil bag using a kitchen sealer. On all new wiring harness jobs, I use large enough shrink tube to shrink down over all my plugs to give support to unplugging rather than having to pull on the wires and use this wrap to graduate down to wrap all my exposed wiring to prevent problems. The 12V SAE plugs are notoriously hard to pull apart once in a wire harness. This tape and shrink fixes that problem. Free wire lengths for AUX cords etc, just use about 2 1/2″ length of shrink tubing with adhesive over the SAE plug. This tape is also good for taping plugs together in the RV-TT so they don’t come apart until you want them to. Put a dab of white marker paint at both ends edge of the plugs so you know where to cut the wrap off. Trying to find the end in small spaces is hard, the paint marker stops that problem. Cut wraps off.My 2001 Dodge truck uses this type of wrap on even the smallest 2 wire very long runs, to the ceiling lights which are low power lamps.I would highly recommend this brand of heat wrap tape. It is economical and it works.

I know people have a hard time getting excited over tape or wire looms, but this stuff is the premium tape used by Mercedes and BMW. Not only does it provide a unique finished look to the wiring harnesses, but once applied offers very nice heat and abrasion protection. How do I know this??? Well, I have used this stuff on welding cables where they are prone to rubbing on corners and towards the end of the cables that see a lot of scuffing. As in being used and pulled over various items while welding or jig placement. This stuff works very well, and I have been buying it from a local Mercedes dealer. Buy it from the Amazon, the cost savings is phenomenal and it is EXACTLY the same tape, just arrives in a plain bag rather than some fancy embossed box with Mercedes emblem on it. Buy some, and then you’ll be prepared. Give is as a gift. Serious, this tape is amazing, and it works very well on wire harnesses too!!Marion.

I use this tape often in my car audio builds. It is currently protecting 20′ +-. I re-routed some of the 1/0 gauge and the only bad thing about this tape is removing it, omg what a pain! I considered throwing the piece away but at $6.50 a foot I decided against it.. You can rest assured It def does its job. And looks good while doing it

The color is a perfect match and one side is sticky, but the other, not so much. Sorcery.

Used it to seal the splice packs in my vintage American car. Used a scissors to cut it. This tape is very tough. Likely of similar quality of the tape used on my 1967 Oldsmobile.Thank you for making a product worthy of use on my pride, and joy

I use this on multiple vehicles, best tape I’ve found. The adhesive doesn’t get gummy and it’s clearly better quality than OEM on everything except the Land Rover (because they use this exact tape in the factory, so it’s a tie)

I used it to wire up my signal and power lines in my sound system install. Great sticking power!

Love the normal cloth Tesa tape, although this is the better product for any application that you WON’T need to unwrap later. This stuff is extremely sticky and doesn’t undo itself without a fight. It also looks better, is more durable, and can withstand heat and the elements. Love using it to finish ends of car audio speaker cables, as well as electronics installs on my boat. This tape is truly heavy duty and will give your wiring a factory look.
