Its a neat wax. I applied after buffing my paint to a high shine. I found the wax fairly hard to work with. Not the worst ever but make sure you put it on thinnn and take it off in a reasonable amount of time. My truck seemed to be no problem, but I have experienced streaking on other cars. Make sure that paint surface is as cool as you can possibly get it, within reason. I’m not sure if that caused the streaks or not but its the only thing I can think of. The streaks don’t come out easy so be careful as you might end up having to polish if it streaks on you.Gloss was OK but not great. My truck is black with metallic flake. The truck looks shiny and nice, but it just doesn’t have that same “pop” that other nice waxes have. The metal flake doesn’t glisten like I was used to with other waxes.Durability so far has been great. The truck beads water like crazy even 2 months later. I love seeing it run off the hood like mad when I drive in the rain. It certainly lives up to its reputation there.I was hoping it would make for a great glass wax (rain x alternative if you will) and its pretty good. I’ve used A TON of products on my windshield to help sheet off rain. I would rate this as very good but it hasn’t beaten my go to for the past several years which is turtle wax ice paste. We will see if this out lasts the TWI. I suspect it will, but thats not a huge benefit to me as the TWI lasts a very long time already. I have noticed that it takes a quite a bit more speed to get the water sheeting off the windshield vs the Ice, and it doesn’t do as well with fine misty rain as the Ice either. If its pouring or you’re driving at a pretty quick speed though you’ll have no problem so use this product on your glass and you’ll be happy.I am also experimenting with it on my jet ski. Didn’t seem to last even one whole trip on there (when it was working it was great though). I did a very quick job though, so it could easily be on me. I’ll take a little more time next time before I make my final call on that.

First off, this isn’t a spray wax. Ease of use and removal shouldn’t be compared a spray wax. The keys to this traditionally applied paste wax is application and removal. Apply a very thin layer. I used the supplied foam applicator, but others have said a microfiber applicator works better. I did the hood first and left it on for around 10 minutes before removing. It was a BEAR! I found it started to haze after 2 minutes in my situation – a 75 degree garage. Removing it at the 2 minute mark dramatically improved the process! (Note: I used Griot’s Wax Removal Towels and had to change to a clean towel quite frequently = used 5 or 6 towels). The other complaint I’ve heard was the chemical smell. It smells like Johnson Paste Wax furniture wax. I worked in a closed 3-car garage and was not bothered by the smell or fumes. I applied it to a friend’s Highlander, and after a month he said it looks so good he’s hasn’t bothered to wash it. I saw it yesterday and he’s righ

I bought this after seeing a bunch of videos on how durable this sealant is, which is what I was looking for after being disappointed with another SiO2 based sealant. I finally got around to polishing the paint on my car and I was anxious to try this out. Of course I knew what I was getting into when I bought this after reading about numerous complaints on the difficulty of application and removal, the smell, and the fact that the instructions say not to get it on anything but paint. You’re not gonna wax your car in 15 minutes with this product, that’s for sure. Since I still had my car taped off from when I polished, I went nuts on the application. Now some say to dampen the sponge applicator that comes in the tin, I didn’t do that and just bought some microfiber applicators. Like others have said, lay it on thin, and as soon as you’ve covered the panel you’re working on, just buff it off. If you leave it more than 2 minutes, you’re gonna have problems. I got a

The product I recieved was the soft99 fusso coat old formula (smells harsher). This was the one I wanted as I heard the newer formula does not last as long due to the manufacturing process. I can’t speak on the terms of longevity yet, but the hydrophobic properties are out of this world. This is the slickest product I have ever put on my car. There are deffinatly products out there that will give you more of a deeper gloss, but from everything I have seen online the protection from this product is unmatched. I plan on ordering a few more cans of it before the old formula becomes completely unavailable, as this will be my go-to paint protection for the winter months from now on. I deffinatly reccomend this wax/sealant to anyone who wants top paint protection. That being said, it was easier to apply to the paint than most other reviewers have said. As long as you dont leave it to cure for too long, it buffs right off. I left it on my hood a little too long when I a

If you’ve been using spray sealants like turtle wax and others, and have a bit more patience applying something, you’ll want to try this. It easily out performs any spray sealant I’ve ever used. I’m a month in, and just washed the car. The pre-rinse was insane, the water was beading and moving off the panel like a ceramic coating. It can be finicky to apply, keep it off rubber / trim / plastic. It takes a few minutes to bond/cure, but it’s very easy to wipe off. THIN coats, otherwise you’ll have streaking that looks like a fine hazy swirl mark in the paint. What you’re left with is extremely strong protection against the elements. This stuff stinks, bad. Make sure you apply it somewhere with a lot of fresh air. Also, wear gloves 100%. No gloves, don’t even bother. This stuff is poison, but that’s OK if you’re careful.this isnt as convenient as a spray sealant, but it’s far better performing than any i’ve used, and i’ve used just about all of them

What I like about it a round it you need something. What you dislike it dry to fast. The price is too much for this

Gave my car the best shine it ever had. As far as getting it off, since I hand wax my car I only leave a thin layer on each section for about 2 minutes and then I remove it.

There are 2 versions of this product.Old version – Large yellow writing in Japanese – is considered “better” because of stronger chemical makeup. Currently not allowed or sold in EU.New version – Large Fusso Coat name – is good, but changed formula with less harmful chemicals. The testing that has been performed by many, are extreme torture tests. If you follow the directions, LAY A LIGHT COAT, AND LET CURE, both perform very well. Also maintain with a topper coat of your favorite spray wax/sealant.Wear disposable gloves and common sense applies.Proper paint preparation makes a HUGE difference in length of durability.Less is better when applying.Use auto shampoo, not dish soap for car washing. You can ask for the older version from sellers in your order notes. Most have no problem sending older version if they still have it.

It is easily the longest-lasting, most chemical-resistant paint protection product short of a ceramic coating. Will it last a full year? Not for a daily driver parked outside 24/7 in the Pacific Northwest. But it will last well for 7-8 months under those conditions, enough for the rainy season. Nothing else will short of a coating—not Collinite 476, not Sonax PNS, not any of the “ceramic” spray coatings (except maybe Griots 3-in-1). So it will last 1/2–2/3 as long as a coating-lite such as Gyeon Can Coat or Carpro Lite, but it is several times cheaper per application (a tin is 2/3 the price and is good for 15-20 applications) and it does not require being protected from water for 12-24 hours like the coatings. (Do not apply any coating unless you can keep the vehicle inside for 12-24 hours. I don’t have a garage, so I can’t use a coating. Plus, it is much less prone to water spotting than coatings. It takes a bit longer to a)pply than the coating-lites, but not much, and there is no cure time. It is not difficult as long as you apply it very thinly. Do wear gloves and a mask, and store it in an air-tight container or outside your living area.
