The media could not be loaded. This gauge works absolutely perfect. Read the manual and you will see you have to release air THEN remeasure. Only gauges i can think of that show you as you go down are analog/dial gauges. Plus its more accurate to get a reading twice. Works perfect on presta valves, just unscrew the valves push up firmly and you get a reading in 1sec. For schrader valves (car tire valves) its exactly the same just push against the valve and 1sec reading.Accuracy: I have a snapon dial gauge that i use for my car (schrader valve) only goes to 60psi so didnt bother buying adapters for the presta valve. My tire shows 31.5psi on the snapon gauge (twice the price as this one) my SKS air shows 32 and my other schrader digital gauge shows 32 so im going to say the .5psi accuracy is spot on. Only problem i found with this is using it on car tires its very small and has a short head to measure. Its made for bicycle use but can be used for cars as well just

This is a good little tire gauge. I bought this to daily test a set of motorcycle wheels using a Tubliss innertube design. My application involves testing one set of innertubes at 110psi and another at 10 to 35 psi, and this unit makes the regular measuring quick and easy.The head fits Schrader on one side and Presta on the other, and the head swivels 180 degrees for ease of use. So far I have only used it with Schrader valves.I found the readings to be consistent and easy to obtain. I believe this Airchecker tool to be an ideal choice for applications where you want a minimal amount of air loss when checking – such as on air shocks and other high pressure, low volume situations. I believe this airchecker allows for less air loss than any of my other units. Easy to read. It was reading about much lower than another gauge I have. I commented to Amazon and a replacement was in the mail that day. I just received the replacement and it reads the same as the other one I have now. I tested new and old just now and old was 10 psi less!It is great to have these companies to purchase from. Thanks for standing behind these products.

UPDATE: I contacted SKS and they immediately sent out a replacement. New gauge works great! SKS is a solid company that stands behind it’s products.original review:Pressure readings are way off – 30-49 lbs difference from other gauges I have.

I didn’t like the old generation of SKS gauge, this new one is slick and fast. Super easy to use and easy to read. I keep in my car for trips to check tires before rides. For touring it’s great because you can check pressure daily and top off with the tiny frame pumps and know exactly where your pressures are. Especially when touring through mountains and ever changing altitudes and temperatures.

The only dislike is the head does not fully rotate and it turns off too quickly . I’ve tested against othe gauges and very expensive gauge I have for racing tires on my track race bike and it’s dead on everytine

Great fit in valve head. Doesn’t lose air when removed from valve stem. Backlit screen easy to read. Measures to tenths of PSI. Haven’t owned it long enough to judge battery life.
