First and foremost, I believe it is important to describe what kind of riding I do. I have been riding a road bike for about 6 months, almost entirely flat land, and for about 20-70 miles at a time. I rode on the stock saddle for 1 month and this saddle for 5 months. I have somewhat wider hips for a dude and I’m about 6’0 190Ibs. My primary purpose for buying this saddle was because of the channel in the middle. Before, I was going numb in my crotch area, both parts if you know what I mean. I also felt the immediate pain on my sit bones from the cracks in the road. After, no problems. No numbness and the cushion is thick, alleviating the pain when riding over the unavoidable cracks. Now listen, this saddle is not as sleek and professional looking, but hey, the only one who benefits from this saddle is you, and, therefore, should be the only one that cares how it feels. I went through many saddles, testing each and every one the same way, and this saddle gave me

This saddle goes along way in relieving the pressure on my prostrate area so I can ride much longer than I have been able to in the past. I wouldn’t say that it is completely comfortable, the seat is a little firm but it goes a long way in making riding fun again. I think that other than the firm ride and short rails of the seat itself, this is a really good product, though a little pricey it’s easy to install. Im not sure if the seat covering will hold up against nick and cut so I’m reluctant to turn the bike upside down on the ground to work on it if I had to. Although if something did happen to this saddle I would probably replace it with the same seat because overall my bike riding experience has been much more enjoyable than in past ten or fifteen years.

I replaced my Mtb saddle with this. I could not be happier. I ride lots of rocks, technical terrain. Could not do it for more than half an hour without being very sore downstairs. I was so disheartened by the constant pain, I thought I would have to give up riding. I tried changing how my saddle was angled. I tried all kinds of padded shorts & chamois. I tried going for short rides hoping to build up “resistance”. I tried limiting how much time I spent in the saddle, but that really wasn’t the answer. So I decided to try a different saddle, and I bought this one. What a difference! I now enjoy riding two, three hours or longer, 15-20 miles or more without pain, with or without padded shorts. I recommended it to other ladies I ride with and a few of them have tried it and are very happy they did so. It really supports a woman’s wider sit-bones (common among those of us that have birthed children) and the flair back gives the spine a little support, too. So it might work well for guys with back troubles as well. The cutout gives nice airflow, keeping things cool which also makes for more comfortable rides. Well worth the money. Absolutely would buy it again.

I purchased this saddle after much research. My PSA had spiked last year but fortunately it was because of cycling, not cancer. This saddle effectively relieves pressure and has eliminated a recurrence of the original problem.

I bought this because I was having issues with prostate inflammation after long rides and would have to wait to ride again for a few days. This seems to have cured the problem or at least lessened it.

The bike seat was at my home in two days. Easy installation. I been cycling for over 40 years and this is the most comfortable bike seat. No pain or fatigue.

I started biking for cardio, and I ride at least 100 miles a week. I’m a big guy (5’10”, 285lbs) and my old seat was making my little soldier numb. I was ready to give up riding to get some feeling back. This split seat takes the pressure off, and forces you to sit more on your rear vs between your legs. Within a week, the numbness was gone, and things went back to performing at their full potential.Buy this seat immediately! Knowing what I know now, I would have gladly paid double.

I have used many saddles by Selle Italia and they have been great. After a couple years of cycling, I began riding longer distances and my old saddle started causing severe discomfort in my perineum around 20 miles. Upon lifting off the seat the pain would jolt and then relieve. With this saddle, that pain has been rectified. I use it with padded cycling shorts and it works great. It is worth every penny.

I bought this as a replacement to my Peloton G4 Bike. No matter how I was sitting, the original Peloton seat was making my male sensitive bits fall asleep and go numb after about 10 minutes in the saddle. I don’t know how the Selle SMP fixed it, but my bits are back and alive the whole ride now. I’ve ridden in the saddle up to 60 minutes on the Peloton now without any of the previous issues.Incredibly worthwhile upgrade. Installation was a snap.
