This is my favorite face powder. I’ve been using it for several years and every time I’ve strayed, I’ve come back to it. This powder is mattifying but not too drying. It does add some color and give decent coverage on it’s own. My only gripe is that the packaging is horrible. Every single case I’ve bought has cracked usually breaking the powder. So I DO NOT take this to go. I use it only at home. Additionally, the embossed Fleur-de-Lis super compacts the powder and it’s hard to get powder from those spots but once you finally wear it down, it disperses more evenly.I see they’ve changed the colors and gotten rid of some. That’s okay because I’ve tried 3 or 4 colors and hardly noticed a difference among them. Creamy natural is pink toned and great for fair skin.

I have been on a new makeup kick of late. I have tried several new powders, and this has been one of my favorites. The color works well on my medium, slightly Mediterranean-toned skin. I would suggest that the powder provides light to medium coverage, depending on how it’s applied. Although it does given my face, which tends to be oily, a more matte appearance, it does NOT keep my face matte all day. To be honest, I have yet to find a product that will do this. The one thing that I really don’t like about this product is the packaging; I don’t like the cheap plastic screw top at all. But for the inexpensive price, the product is worth it, and I would recommend it.

So I ordered 4 of these powders and one of them was shattered when I opened the package. But it’s so easy to fix that it’s not even worth returning. All you do is crush the powder pieces up into a fine powder and use rubbing alcohol to make a paste and then smooth it back into the original container. Then just let it dry it says good as new.

This is perfectly adequate powder, low perfume odor and a nice translucent finish that hides shine without mattifying too much.More importantly, it is exactly the right size to fit in a vintage Stratton compact. Apply a little heat to the bottom and the pan pops right out, ready to be placed in the fancy 1960s compact you stole from your grandma/bought on Etsy. Suffer the tyranny of flimsy plastic compacts getting beat to death in your overstuffed handbag no longer! You’ll look and feel like the classiest b*tch in the cubicle farm.

I’m pretty certain I received a counterfeit item when I ordered this. The powder wasn’t sealed. In addition, the powder is flat and smooth, when this brand has a raised crown shape on its powders. I’ve bought and used this brand for ages. At first I thought it was just a new thing, but now I have a severe breakout when this powder has never caused issues before. Check your powders to make sure they are legit!

I ordered the Rimmel Pressed powder in Toffee and received a fake brand. The real product has a crown on it, this one doesn’t and the consistency of the power barely rubs on your finger, the real one is a smooth cremy type powder. So disappointed.

I’ve tried many famous, expensive brands of makeup before, but to me this Rimmel powder’s still on top of my list. For my oily, Asian skin complex (medium beige), this powder works wonderfully! My color’s Nude Beige which’s now a rare color for Rimmel. It looks like mineral powder, controls oil, and true to color. You pay alot less for so much more! A basic packaging (no mirror, no sponge) but weighs 0.49g is alot more than most fancy makeup compacts that can cost 6 to 10x more. It’s made in England not China, so you’re safe! Yes, I’m serious. Buy it, and you’ll definitely feel “How lovely!”.

At first I thought this was a fake since the powder isn’t embossed, so I bought one at Walmart. Aside from the color they’re exactly the same. It’s a great powder and doesn’t get cakey on the skin. Can’t beat the price.

I used to buy expensive make up and would never be completely satisfied. I tried this powder because I searched which powder is best for taking away shine. This one was rated #1, and it truly works. It’s light weight, keeps the shine off, doesn’t flake. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought this for the first time after reading a review on Jezebel.com years ago that swore this product was the only one that stopped her makeup from budging on the hottest summer days. She was right! It’s also perfect for setting sunscreen before applying makeup.
