I wanted to review this liostick because it worked so well for me and it’s really hard for me to find a red that works. The color I have is the red, 10. I have olive skin with yellow undertones and black hair, and am in my 40s. Many reds are too harsh for my skin tone. If they are too orange I look sallow, if too cool, reds look odd, too. This shade is neutral, not too warm or too cool.Others didn’t find it lasting but I was impressed it lasted for 3-4 hours. I balance out the lasting quality with how drying it is. The ones that last through several meals are way too drying on my lips, so I’d prefer to reapply after 3-4 hours. Be aware it does come off on coffee cups and things; for me that’s no big deal, for others it might be. Frankly I was impressed it lasted as long as it did. It did last through eating to an extent but faded greatly. With any lipstick I expect to reapply after eating.I like the matte formula that isn’t too dry or one dimensional, too. I have this lipstick in a few shades.

After months of searching, finally found the PERFECT nude!! Not orangey, not too pink, not drying. A little hint of pink makes this shade look natural, but not “pinkey.” Product isn’t drying, leaves lips moisturized

The quality of this lipstick is great; definitely one of the better drugstore formulations I have tried. But I just wanted to leave a review bc I found the color on 001 to be really different than I expected. In reviews online, it looked like almost like a deep red, and I read many reviews that described it as “bright” and a “blue red.” It is not! No, this is a warm red for sure. I compared it to Mac Ruby Woo and Armani 400 (I use both luxury and drugstore lip colors) and this is a warm, almost even kind of rusty red. It’s nicely pigmented, but I wouldn’t call it “bright” either. I’m not sure that this really does anything for my warm olive skintone. I also got 107, and I like that one much better (it’s darker and has a better scent). The scent on 001 is fruity, but quite mild. I dislike strong fragrances, and I wouldn’t have minded wearing this one.

This lipstick is incredible! I can’t believe I have not tried it until now. It’s so smooth, it just glides over your lips and feels so good. And the color is just a perfect nude, I ordered #45, and I will be picking up some other colors in this collection as well. I find myself putting it on during the day, even if I’m not going anywhere, just because it feels so nice on. I’ve been raving about it to my mom, and she ordered one too. I would never have guessed this was a drugstore lipstick if it didn’t have a label on it. Ladies, it’s just that good. Rimmel’s website has better pictures of the colors, that’s what I used to select the color I wanted to try.*Tl;dr- fabulous lipstick, feels amazing on and beautiful color #45. The perfect lipstick.

I ordered this lipstick to wear in a wedding with a navy dress. I was looking for a really light nude color with a peach tint. I was really pleased with the results. At first when I opened it I was scared it was going to be too dark looking at it in the tube. However, when I applied it, I thought it was actually lighter. Hopefully, the pics will help explain what I mean and give you an idea of color.Overall though, I am really pleased! .

I am always blown away by this lipstick. I have several higher end brands, and I repeatedly reach for my Rimmel lipsticks. They are so smooth on your lips, they feel like a treatment instead of a lipstick. The colors are absolutely gorgeous and look perfect. I’m not sure how a $5 lipstick beats a $20-30 product; but I prefer these over my KVD and MUFE, and I really like those. I had been watching some of my favorite YouTubers rave over these lipsticks, and they were absolutely right. I even brought it over to my mom to show her how great it was, and she purchased a couple the same day. Check out Rimmel’s website for better pictures of the lip colors, because Amazon’s are not that good.

This lipstick feels so nice and creamy . Shade 41, while a beautiful nude, just didn’t suit my super fair, neutral toned skin. It has a bit of a pretty pink hue but has a pasty look on me. It’s lighter than my natural lip color and makes me look sick. I’m going to use it on top of my darker matte lipsticks to make them lighter and more creamy. I think this would look beautiful on most skin tones just not the fairest of the fair.

I’m super picky about my lipsticks. Since they’re so close to my nose (duh 😉 ), I find myself avoiding any that smell perfumey, waxy, or even (so oddly) kind of rancid. The color of this lipstick is absolutely stunning – a neutral mauve / rose / brown – and the texture is nice and creamy. Time will tell if I end up loving it or not, but already I’m finding the scent off-putting and gravitating toward other lipsticks with less offensive smells. It’s possible that this one just sat around in a warehouse too long, but whatever it is, it’s not a smell I want to experience for very long or very often. Given that I wanted this to be my new everyday go-to lipstick, that’s really disappointing and for that I give it only 4 stars. (I thought about giving it only 3, but only the smell is an issue for me.)

I have been buying Rimmel lipstick for several years, but always try to buy a true Coral close to a ‘ginger or orange’…not the RED Lasting Finish 001 in a black tube. I have to apply carefully with a light hand so I don’t drown in red, which is very strong but I admit is a beautiful red. At age 75 (but not an ‘old’ 75) bright red is just a bit much, lol. My husband likes it, so I’ll try it from time to time since the Coral color (in a red tube) seems to be discontinued. I apply the color, blot lightly and pat with a finger, then I apply a light coat of a balm or similar color moisturizing lipstick…just my preference.

My every day lip color for over a year! Such a flattering shade! I was surprised by how long this lipstick lasts throughout the day. I get asked about my lipstick all the time, and people are so shocked when I tell them it’s Rimmel. I also wear their blush on a daily basis.
