I used it for camping and it worked really well. I like the replaceable battery pack and the micro USB port for charging instead of always having to buy batteries. The auto dim feature on the light works really well.

I’ve been using headlamps for almost 15 years, aviation mechanic. For running… I mean, I don’t get why you would need a headlamp anyway, I’ve been running for two decades. The changing of light is so erratic, it irritates my eyes. Yes I know I can make it stay the same but I wanted a headlamp they would last longer than half a day. The brightness is extremely weak. I’ll stick to buying extra batteries for my Milwaukee.

I hiked the Appalachian trail this weekend in the early morning before dawn. I had never used a headlamp before. This thing lights up the world! I thought I wouldnt like the reactive/adaptive feature because I’m a scaredy cat and I want it 100% bright the whole time, but it was so convenient. Despite the sunrise finally coming i still needed light on the trail but not looking ahead. This light adapted perfectly, when I looked down at where I was stepping, it would brighten. When I looked up ahead it would dim as necessary. I will never own anything else

I wanted to love this headlamp. It’s nice and bright but started dimming and turned off on my very first use! Yes, I charged it before my first use. I don’t like the auto-dimming function. I just can’t believe it kept dimming and or turning off. Not exactly good when I’m running in the woods in the dark.

As I mostly run at dawn, having the adaptive light is great – I get adequate brightness when it’s still pitch black, but I save battery as the sky slowly brightens. The transitions are quick and seamless, so if you go under trees and it darkens suddenly, the light you need is there. The comfort is good – sometimes the strap gets a bit loose, but since I am mainly wearing it over winter headgear, the fit is snug enough. Even without any hat, a little adjustment and it’s fine – no bouncing, though it sometimes slips down a bit.The beam field and adjustability work well for me. For battery, I get 4 30 min runs before I recharge, and I could probably push it a bit further.I’ve worn it in light to medium rain without issue.

I use it for doing work in the early hours of the morning when it is still dark. It provides adequate light for me to rake leaves or do other chores around the house.

Battery lasts forever and the reactive lighting is so helpful while out in the snow. We have bought 2 now and use them daily! Spend the extra money and have a headlamp that actually works

  8. C.S (verified owner)

Love this headlamp definitely the brightest headlamp I’ve owned and does well with night skiing, battery life is good too. I only wish it had a red or green mode. The sensor is cool & seems to work but I usually just turn it on brightest mode possible unless I’m working on something small right in my face where I don’t need a butt ton of light.

  9. Faye (verified owner)

Fully charged, lights worked for max 2 hrs, not on all settings as advertised. I need a head lamp doesn’t require a degree in electrical engineering to operate. Refund requested.

I bought this so I could see where the dog poops at night! And it’s brilliant. But it helps in other ways too – it illuminates the parts of his leash that are reflective, and it lights up the sidewalk ahead of me. It’s enormously adjustable so no matter whether you just wear it on your head or on a thick hat on your head, it can accommodate any size. Love it.
