With Vitrea 160’s amazing opaque, dimensional glass paint outliners, you can easily create unique and permanent works on glass, crystal, porcelain, china, glazed earthenware and more. These water-based, non-toxic, professional grade outiners were developed to create unique relief effects and to contain Vitrea 160 paints. They are also completely removable until baked in a kitchen oven at 160 °C (325 °F) for 40 minutes. Once baked, the paint is permanent, microwave and dishwasher safe as well as UV and solvent resistant. Vitrea 160 Outliners come in 10 opaque colors. Available in 20 ml metal tubes with a nozzle. Conforms to ASTM D-4236. AP certified.
With Vitrea 160 paints you can create your most beautiful works of art on glass or crystal. Water and dishwasher resistant paint
itrea 160 is available in three different finishes: gloss, frosted and shimmer and these finishes are available in several different formats including 45ml, 20ml, markers and outliners.
Vitrea 160 colours are best used on glass or crystal, due to the transparency and effects that are created once they are combined; they can nevertheless, be applied to other types of media and baked in the same way.
After baking at 160 degrees in a kitchen oven, for 40 minutes, the colours become deeper and richer.

I use Pebeo Vitrea 160 Glass Paint a lot! I own a custom art business and started doing glass painted a few years ago. I bough my frist Pebeo Vitrea paint in the Micheal’s craft store before they stopped carrying it to try it out and i fell in love. I did a bunch of research to find the best paint for my purpose and this is what i came up with. I’ve bought almost every color and medium of Pebeo Vitrea’s glass paint and have been very happy with it. It has a nice transparent look which is nice and elegant on glassware. The tube outlines are interesting to work with to say the least. They are a little temperamental. If you are intending to fire your glassware to make them dishwasher safe the outlines sometimes bubble. It’s not a huge deal, but if you are a perfectionist like me it tends to get irritating. This hasn’t stopped me from using them, you just have to keep that in mind when you are painting. Also keep in mind that unlike the other Pebeo Vitrea glass paint the outliner is a more “raised” paint. It will not be flush to the glass, it will be raised.

Love the way it outlines and highlights the designs, I used this for christmas glass ornament painting. I have attached images for the reference. It works great on the glass surfaces, I have purchased 3 colors i.e. Copper, Silver & Gold liners. It leaves fine lines as you squeeze the tube while you draw your design. When you use liquid glass paints it tends to flow so you outline the colors, this product does the job. It dries quickly as well. And leaves no odor.

I’m an art teacher and we’ve used one tube through many lessons to texturize our Christmas paintings and to outline ornamaents and such. It’s easy to use and control., doesn’t flatten out and dries fairly quickly.

Okay, So I’ve been working with these for a couple of weeks now. I’ve gone through almost all of one tube of gold and one of pearl and ordered another. So here are some observations. I didn’t realize that there is a child proof seal thing on top of the tube on the inside of the cap. This thing must be pierced. You must remove the white part of the cap which unscrews. I made the mistake of thinking that I didn’t have the hole big enough and kept cutting off the end. The end must be snipped but you just want to snip the very end to keep the lines small and in control. It doesn’t surprise me that some people were squeezing hard enough to split the sides. I could see myself doing the same thing. It may have had directions on the tube but I don’t see very well. So there’s no reading those instructions.I resorted to you tube to see how it was done. I recommend watching a couple of videos. Then practice practice practice. The more you do it the better you’ll get. I als

I bought these to do the outline on my wine bottles . I love the colors, and even use them for filler instead of my glass paint. Very easy to use and precise not like the hard to squeeze bottle that you have not control of how much will come out.

I used it on stained wood and paper and just couldnt be happier. It flows great, leaves a nice 3D trace in true gold, dries quite fast and looks absolutely gorgeous. I had two massive projects – 50 highly decorated cards (with a LOT of long lines, not just a dot here and there) and 100+ small wooden trinkets with writing, and got it all finished with just one tube. Great product!

The rather liquid consistency made it difficult to use this to create fine drawings on glass, rather like trying to draw with a tube of toothpaste rather than a marker pen. The color is medium to dark gray and a bit translucent, rather than the deep, opaque black that either this product, or related products I used ten years ago or more, used to have. Expensive too.

Seller ships quickly, A+. Follow the instructions, and don’t expect expert results at first. I keep cotton swabs close to fix mistakes. Practice makes perfect! After you get the hang of it,,,beautiful designs develop.?

I’m glad I ordered this stuff and will be using it for the foreseeable future. That said, I’ve found it challenging to apply evenly and without screwing it up and having to use my finger and/or other paint to smooth and even out. Needs several coats to really pop. If you plan to use this paint, you’ll need to be prepared to spend plenty of time and have plenty of patience.

This was my first time with this product. The paint would not come out of the tube. In inspecting it, it had foam rubber type consistency and is entirely unusable for the purpose. When I dug some out of the tube to see if it was blocked, it had the consistency of earplugs. Very frustrating.
