Shocked that Parker — an iconic pen company with a great history — would put their name in this inferior piece of plastic junk. Yes, the price is very affordable but the quality is poor and the ink flow disastrous. Do not buy this pen. The Parker Jotter is a much better option.

Pen is pretty nice to write with. Clicker is really nice. Writes great with a fisher space pen refill. Just dont like the plastic lower portion. Would love for them to have all metal construction with these color choices. Little too light for my liking. I want a pen that I can carry to work and be rough with and know it isn’t likely to break.

it is priced like a jotter, but then so are many pens. it is designed for quick engagement like a jotter, but so are many pens. its looks* and feel does not remind the user of a jotter, but then so are many pens. essentially, this is not a jotter, it is just a fountain pen. if you like the style of this pen, then buy it. but note that quality control seems lacking, as my white pen came stained with some other color. *the parker jotter’s classic design has a few basic elements, the most crucial are the oblong shape and the single color plastic body that goes into a metal nock-casing. the nock mechanism i can do without since that would price the jotter fountain pen at about ten times its current price, but it is a mistake to have two plastic colors with a metal cap. the single plastic color is part of the attraction to the jotter. and it doesn’t helps that it isn’t shaped like a jotter. what they should have done is flipped the top for the bottom for the fountain p

I ordered the Jotter Originals Ballpoint in red in 9/2020 and I got a real, quality, plastic barrel Jotter made in France. Pretty much the same quality as they have been for decades (I also own older UK- and USA-made versions). Get ’em while you still can. I am very happy with my purchase. I prefer these plastic barrel versions over the metal barrel versions because they somehow just feel and grip better. The metal is too slippery for me.The included Quinkflow refill works well, but if you want to transform this into the best writing pen in the world, put in a Schmidt EasyFlow 9000 refill and prepare to be amazed.

Almost identical to original Parker t-ball jotter pens, whose refills revolutionized ball point pens. Originally from Janesville, WI USA.Unfortunately it doesn’t rotate the refill consistently so you have to snap the button a few times or apply pressure to get the refill to sit back in the pen correctly as can be seen in the above photos. 3.75 stars

I don’t write with a pen as often as I used to since most of us use a keyboard to write messages. I find the pen too light and weighs 0.4 ounces. The pen could be a couple millimeters wider for a more comfortable grip for a man. If you like to write with a fountain pen you might want to consider something better. If you are just an occasional user it may be the right pen for you. It’s neither a great pen or a bad pen.

The Jotter is an old standby I had not had for decades. It never, never, skips and has a medium-fine ball point that make cursive much more legible. It is lightweight and the retraction mechanism is crisp. The pocket clip is a snazzy arrow and keeps the pen safe in the pocket.

Pen writes very good. The front black portion is plastic. It broke when I dropped the pen. Unfortunate. Even the refill tip if dropped in the ground gets unreliable easy. Although it’s a common problem, and my fault , I wish it lasted longer . Very good brand , works very well.

Cheap thin plastic body. Cheap thin metal cap. Refill had some kind of manufacturing residue on it. It was also very cheaply made and looked it. The “fine” point is actually bold which I knew it would be–but is still disappointing. Parker Jotters used to be excellent writing instruments. Not any more.

It writes very well however, the ink that comes with the pen is awful; constantly skipping and not even starting.I ended up buying the converter and using Diamine Oxford Blue ink in the pen and now it writes really well. Diamine inks are known for being well-lubricated inks that work in pens that write “dry”.Once you match the pen with the correct ink, it’s excellent for the price paid.
