Buy them before they run out!

  2. Fran (verified owner)

Writes okay – the ballpoint was lighter that I expected.

The pens came fast as promised. I use everyday with space pen refills of different colors I got from ipen.com. I recommend to family and friends.

Love the color and smoothness of these pens. I do note that the barrel is just slightly narrower than the previous Parker that I own. Still, good product that I would highly recommend.

These are my new favorite pens (again – I’ve been using one for years but gave up on junky pens entirely and now use these exclusively). I have some high dollar pens (gold Cross, massive Montblanc) which look fancy in my pocket, but these write very well, plus they are a nice and also practical design. I also have a couple in all-stainless, and those came in a gift box, but the choice of colors is cool and a ribbon will do if it’s a gift. I’m a believer, so I’ve been gifting them too.

To understand why these are genuine Parker Jotters, manufactured by owner Newell Rubbermaid in Nantes, France, I recommend reviewing the “Parker Pen Company” entry in Wikipedia. Since development of the original Parker Jotter decades ago, the pen and its ownership have gone through several iterations. All I can tell you from my experience owning many Jotters over the years is that they appear to be the same size and weight and have a genuine Parker-labeled ballpoint ink cartridge inside. Having just received them, I can’t vouch for their expected longevity, but I can assure you that they are the genuine Parker Jotter product as it exists today.

Do Not Buy this if you want BLUE INK. The Ink is BLACK.The advertisement specifies BLUE INK. The box that the pens come in specifies BLUE INK but the ink is black. I happen to like blue ink and usually have to buy blue refills to change out the black ink that these pens usually come with. I was excited to find pens that actually come with Blue Ink.I was very disappointed when I opened the box and tested each pen only to find that each one was black. The colors of these pens are not actually to my taste but I was willing to put up with them for the blue ink.I won’t use this seller again.

I really like these pens because they write nicely, are not too heavy but will last a long long time…I also am partial to blue ink; these have blue ink, plus you can refill them over and over…just re-use the spring and you can buy the replacement cartridges here on amazon.

This pen is shorter and slimmer than the average pen, see photo. It came in a Parker Jotter blister package. I’m not familiar with the brand so I don’t know if this petite size is typical, but I enjoy it because I have very small hands, smaller than pretty much everyone I meet. The slim barrel forces me to move my grip up further, which actually increases my writing speed, so I’m enjoying this pen.The description stated blue ink and I got blue ink. The color is a bright royal blue, not dark blue, which I also like. It glides smoothly and easily on paper, no drag and no ink blotches.I would be hesitant in purchasing this pen unless you’re already aware of its petite size. If my hands were larger, this might feel like I’m trying to write with a toothpick, especially considering the thicker grips on many pens these days.

Pros: Write well. Ink doesn’t bleed through paper or blot as a Pilot ballpoint did. Because I love the colors, the ink quality, and the ease of obtaining refills, I’m considering them as Christmas gifts. Cons: Since I have big hands, I’d prefer a pen which was a little longer and a little wider where I grasp the tip. I wish Parker offered a cushioned grip. Because the refill and cap are so much heavier than the tip, the pen is not well-balanced.
