I purchased a Pilot Metropolitan as my first fountain pen and loved it so much I decided to go up in price for my next pen. I purchased this pen and had high expectations but it had not met them. Using the proprietary ink cartridges this pen writes splotchy and skips ink as it writes. I’ve adjusted my grip and writing angle and everything I can read about to help, but it just doesn’t write very smoothly for me. Very disappointing $55 purchase. I will not be buying another Parker.

I love the look, and how it writes. Perfect thickness for a perfect hold. Feels really good on your hand with the right weight. There ONE thing I hate. Between the barrel, and the part of the point there is a ring that always moves. That takes away from the quality Parker is known for.

Great looking pen! The weight is perfect, not too heavy not too light. The matte finish does not affect grip. The cartridge is not the best. Ink flow is not consistent but overall not the worst. I would recommend this pen.
