I own several Parker Jotter line pens. The all metal barrel versions have been fantastic.The Parker IM pen has been a disappointment. The lower portion of the barrel is a very cheap plastic.After two weeks of occasional use, the shirt clip snapped off the barrel. Luckily, I registered the purchase with Parker’s parent company for the two year warranty and they are replacing it. Offered a different pen in their catalog, I am not getting another IM.

I love the look, and how it writes. Perfect thickness for a perfect hold. Feels really good on your hand with the right weight. There ONE thing I hate. Between the barrel, and the part of the point there is a ring that always moves. That takes away from the quality Parker is known for.

Just feels good and writes well. Feel is subjective and the ink flow depends on the cartridge being used. I bought a second one because I like the way it feels in the hand.

So as an experiment I took the ball point cartridge out and found that it worked absolutely perfectly with Parkers “Quink” gel ink cartridges. It’s now the only pen i’ll use to write with as it’s easy to hold as well
