The bulbs i was replacing are just Sylvania basics, probably half the price of these, considering i went back to the Sylvania basics should be an indication of just how poorly these performed in comparison, they weren’t even as bright. Nothing to do with the “whiteness” factor, i have hid for my lows so I knew halogen wasn’t going to compare in that category. I was looking for more brightness compared to the ones i was replacing. These claiming “up to 150% more brightness” which I’m sure is being compared to a standard halogen bulb, which is what I was replacing, so I don’t think I was wrong in thinking that I would see a noticeable difference, but I put the Sylvania basics back in, even though I am now stuck with these and a waste of money, because the Sylvanias are brighter.

I installed these on a 2017 Chevy Cruze. These bulbs replaced some cheap 9011 Phillips bulbs. As far as brightness goes these bulbs are not as bright as my old bulbs. The color is more of a white output but I would rather have brighter light. I definitely would not purchase again.

These were purchased for a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze hatchback. They are a HUGE improvement over the OEM bulbs in terms of overall brightness and they have a more even light dispersion, but I don’t think they throw light that much farther down the road. That’s disappointing. Still, because they’re such a big improvement overall…I’ll rate them 4 stars.

These are a step up over the OEM bulbs. Color is around 4300-4500K so it’s a warm white color which is great for rainy conditions. These don’t get absorbed by wet asphalt as bad as lights that are bluer. Combined these with a set of Nightbreaker high beam bulbs, and night driving is much more comfortable. I will update on bulb life later.

A couple more bucks than the best Sylvania halogen bulbs. It was advertised as being made in Germany. I have found German stuff to be pretty good, so I went for it. Got my lights professionally aimed as my car is one which I can’t aim the headlights myself. It seems one is brighter than the other. But it does light up the road quite well. It is aptly called the Nightbreaker. Maybe there’s another reason why one seems less bright. That being said, I’m pretty satisfied with them.

These bulbs are awesome! They are very bright and light up the road very well!! This is a huge upgrade from the stock bulbs. I went for the 5000K, and am very happy I did. They produce a much whiter & brighter light, but not in an obnoxious way. I enjoy driving at night with these bulbs.. I highly recommend!!

They are direct replacement of the OEM bulbs, make the lights much brighter while keeping everything legal.The packaging can be used to store the old bulbs in case one of these burns out, which is what I did.According to reviewers, these don’t last as long as standard bulbs, but with such dramatic improvement in night visibility, I am willing to live with it and order them again once they burn out.

I have Bi-Xenon headlights but halogen hi beams. OEM halogen bulbs were yellow compared to xenons. These bulbs are much “whiter” – and brighter too! Even if their lifespan is shorter I would buy again.

These are excellent for being halogens. I experimented with LEDs for a couple of years with lackluster results. Of course the LEDs were BRIGHT but the light was either dissipated all over the road and useless or it was focused on one hot spot and everything around it was dark. These Osram bulbs are bright white and cast a very complete and thorough beam across the entire road and down into the ditch. Money well spent.

Put this in in place of Philips Nightguide Platinum. After installing one bulb, can see difference. Shines whiter but have to wait until dark to see how bright they are. It appears seal on side of plastic box broken. I hope these are new and not used or returned items. Says made in USA and not Germany as I had expected.Not too worried about longevity as the bulbs in new Ford Escapes take 1 minute each to replace.
