Since there were no recommendations on how to use this, my first batch stuck to the mold. After dusting with flour, the ravioli released much easier. That may have been my own fault and should have known better. The rolling pin doesn’t do a great job in pressing the dough down enough to cut into individual pieces, so many were stuck together and had to be carefully separated so they maintained their shape and didn’t break open. I personally would spend the extra money and get the Marcato Design Atlas Ravioli Tablet Pasta Maker and would gladly trade mine in.

Overall I this this ravioli maker, it’s easy to use. My only complaint is that I wish the overall width was a touch smaller, I cannot fit an entire sheet of pasta dough from my pasta roller on it, and I wish the ridges that separate the ravioli were just a little bit taller.

Other than the product being opened, the box stained. The mold seems fine and sturdy. Ravioli came out nice, just make sure to powder the mold with flour before using so the dough doesn’t stick. Great product. I just didn’t like the fact that it was open.

  4. Susan Huefner (verified owner)

Mine were sticking quite a bit and I used plenty of flour. After talking with a friend who has one, she had a plastic insert…I didn’t get one. Is one available?

  5. Robin (verified owner)

Being first time homemade pasta makers, this was very easy to use, perfect sized raviolis.Product quality was above expectations. Easy to clean and store. We purchase from this seller again when opportunity arises

  6. Kayla Stover (verified owner)

It’s a mold, how hard can it be? It works, and it’s very sturdy. It’s a little difficult to get the ravioli out once they are made. Very high quality

  7. Kady (verified owner)

I wish I’d gotten the latest release. This one tends to stick and wastes time.

  8. Katie E. Bishop (verified owner)

Well made mold, but the dough sticks terribly, and the rolling pin that comes with it doesn’t cut the ridges well. And despite not overfilling, it squished the filing all over the place. I’ve used other ravioli molds that worked like a dream. This was a dud for me, an expensive dud.

  9. Juan (verified owner)

The product arrived damaged. One of the rubber stoppers on the bottom of the tray was completely missing. I now have to spend the time and money to find and buy a replacement. Disappointing. It’s nearly impossible to use without this.
