This set is Great for its price point. I searched alot of set before settling with this one and I am very happy. I needed a good biting set of brakes, I am 220lbs and ride street trials on a budget built bike. They bite very well ( 4 piston front better than 2 piston rear ) levers are perfect design for one or two finger operation. Modulation is much better than i expected, great range of applied pressure vs ” on or off”. Lines are very long. recommend purchasing a bleed kit, mine arrived a little squishy but after bleed they are very solid and responsive. Bleeding is very simple and easy!

Very easy to install, align, trim hoses and bleed. The handle/reservoir is SUPER delicate- watch out when trimming and trying to get the anchor nut back it as it’s very difficult to align and tighten. I was convinced mine was stripped until it finally went in. I’m nervous about the handles.Bleeding is super easy- just push some blood up out of the handle (and all over your bars:(. and you’re good to go. Way easier than sram or Shimano.Be sure you have a torx bit set and a torque rachet as magura uses torx throughout and the resin reservoir clams would be very easy to snap. Magura provides extra olives and barbs, just make sure you find them in the box and don’t lose them!The stopping power is great up front even with 160mm discs. Out back it’s ok- feels about like a well-modulated single pull rim brake; it won’t lock up my rear tire on pavement.All in all, esp for the price I’m super happy with them. I wouldn’t use for downhill, but fantastic for trail riding.

I replaced my OEM brakes on my mountain bike with these.These brakes come direct from Germany, so it takes a little time for the delivery.I read a lot of reviews on brakes and these were marked as having “a lot of modulation” – they do. It’s very difficult to clamp down on the brakes hard enough to lock the wheels, so you end up using both your front and rear brakes in most situations. You have a long modulation and so it seems like you never lose control.

This was a one click solution for brakes on my new build, except the rotors of course. I had plenty of hydraulic line to reach both end of my size large 29+ krampus.After a quick bedding in, stopping power and modulation are plenty for my 200lb frame with 180mm Rotors.By carefully following the instructions, I was happily able to shorten the lines without having to bleed the brakes.My only complaint is that they shipped in the retail box with no additional packaging, and no cushioning inside. The only thing keeping the box closed was a 1” clear sticker. Considering these shipped from Europe to the US, that was a bit concerning until I opened the box and saw that everything was fine.

Amazing brakes at a great price point. All the stopping power of the more expensive Magura levels. Only complaint is that I received a used set of brakes. Hoses had already been shortened. This set seems to be a factory refurb or bike shop OE take off.

Fantastic brakes and very fair price. I flipped it and put the 4 piston on my rear wheel and the 2 piston on the front because I use my rear brake wayyyy more than front. Haven’t gotten to hit the trails yet due to weather, but just riding around the road on them, the braking power and modulation is unreal!!!

These are excellent breaks, the levers feel really nice and they have plenty of power with four piston in the front and two piston in the rear, probably one of the better brakes you can get it this price I think

Nothing performs near these @$220. When these dip under $200 just buy them and don’t look back. Grab some discobrakes copper free pads and you’re set.

When received my package, the box was all taped up and squished up. The 2 piston brake also leaked all of its fluid. Unbelievable.
