About this item
– LIGHT AND AERODYNAMIC CARBON BLADE: Invented by LOOK Cycle, the KEO Blade Carbon is designed for performance. The aerodynamic blade provides maximum fluidity and is 20% lighter than a standard system.
– CONSISTENT PERFORMANCE, LONG LIFE: Ceramic bearings also offer a longer lifespan than steel bearings. They don’t corrode, are less sensitive to dust and last 4 to 6 times longer than steel bearings.
– MADE BY LOOK: LOOK designs and manufactures exceptional products. Our goal is to provide both professional and amateur cyclists with equipment that gives them a unique and extraordinary experience.

Look: CERAMIC FASTER – LONGEREvery component, every ball is meticulously selected to ensure the highest level of quality and performance. The balls are precisely calibrated one by one by a machine, down to the micrometre. They are then ordered according to size in perfectly adapted rings, with the result that every bearing has a totally unique structure.LONGER LIFEA long lifespan is the main advantage of ceramic bearings. Rounder and harder than traditional balls, they are less sensitive to dust or deposits and guarantee consistent, durable performance.
Furthermore, ceramic is not subject to corrosion. These physical properties ensure the bearings have a lifespan 4 to 6 times longer than standard steel bearings.SMOOTHERReduced friction is the best-known and most characteristic advantage of ceramic bearings. The perfectly circular shape and the hardness of the balls combined with ceramic-specific, optimized greases allows for an 18% reduction of the frictional forces applied to the bearing.SPINDLEIn order to meet the requirements of the most demanding cyclists, the BLADE CARBON pedals are designed to resist the very worst weather conditions. Particular care is given to each component within the axle to ensure optimal lifespan. The axle is guaranteed waterproof by IPX7 (full immersion) and IPX6 (rotating pedal exposed to water jets) tests. The design of the outer cap and the inside nut have been revised to meet these requirements.
BLADE TECHNOLOGY LIGHTER – AERODYNAMIC – SAFERThe use of a carbon blade instead of a conventional metal spring offers numerous advantages: The “blade – lever” system is 20% lighter than a standard “spring – lever” system. The carbon blade blends fluidly into the shape and volume of the pedal, improving the overall aerodynamic properties of the product. The BLADE technology revolutionizes the engagement/ disengagement experience whilst offering firm and secure support. The bowing of the blade when unclipping means the required disengagement torque is reached more rapidly in the dynamic of the movement, allowing for faster cleat release. Pedalling experience is also improved thanks to a firmer lateral stop. The carbon blade is available in various stiffness options: 12, 16 or 20. The blade can be easily, intuitively and quickly (a few seconds suffice) changed depending on the rider’ s clip-in / clip-out preferences.
THE BEST POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO The full extent of the power a cyclist develops is transferred to the bike – and the road – through the pedals. Without going into extensive scientific detail, the larger the contact area, the more efficient the transfer of energy will be. On the other hand, the wider contact area, the more the weight of the pedal increases. LOOK engineers have worked tirelessly to pinpoint the areas where energy transfer is optimal, in order to finetune design and reduce any unnecessary surfaces. This careful analysis was key to producing a pedal with the best weight-to-contact area ratio on the market today.

Absolutely great! Love them! But have one major issue! The left pedal started making clicking noises, I was boggled as to what it could be. Took the pedal off only to discover the bearing is gone… also notice a weird crack in the top of the contact surface, which is weird because it would mean the pressure would have had to come from inside… Otherwise amazingly smooth!

I like the new steel plate design In the 2020 version with raised sides to limit past rocking felling in the older generation. If you like carbons, you will like these.

Very light pedal, but started making clicking sound on transition to crank upstroke where cleat meets pedal. Not expected after just two rides. Look has to fix this problem.

These peddles are lighter than the alternative. However, they are not worth anything near the cost. I was convinced by my local bike shop, that these were the best peddles on the market. I didn’t argue or question it, as I trusted my bike shop. After one month of riding… primarily weekends, I noticed that one of the plates were lifting from the base. I didn’t pay much attention to it – at the time, but it got worse. Within 3 months, the plate fell off and of course… I was riding when it happened, so I couldn’t retrieve it. The peddle still works and I barely notice that the plate is missing, but it’s very disappointing to spend twice as much and get less than half the value. I also did some research and found that this is a common problem with this product. Bottom-line… you’re better purchasing the cheaper or standard peddle.

Just installed them after storing them over the winter. Having play in the axis that click when pulling the pedals sprinting or climbing with power? Is anyone had this issue? They are brand new with only 110 km.

Good pedal, good quality.

I like how they look for sure! But, not even 500 miles and already cranking, not good for the price.

It’s are the best and quick paddles to install, make sure to use some lubricant before installation

This design is maybe good for race but whe you need to unclip and clip back in multiple times on your ride it’s the worst pedal you can choose. Super difficult to find that front receptacle because it’s super small and pedal always rotates so you clips in only back portion of the clit. Super annoying and painful! SWITCHING BACK TO ULTEGRA
