Loving these inks!Once you get past unwrapping the insane amount of unrecyclable coated cardboard packaging for such small ink bottles, actually playing with the inks in your art is super fun. Very intense color, so many ways to use them! Wish there were better packaging options available on Amazon for different color sets and multiples. I’ve seen at my local art store that there are a lot more options for different colors, but they must be purchased individually.

These are amazing inks, I love them. I particularly like these little boxed sets of three, as the muted colors series and one of the other boxed sets come with just an enormous amount of coated cardboard packaging. This is much better, and the set of three is fun. I wish Liquitex would package more of the sets just like this, and include a wider range of the available colors in sets like these for Amazon. Otherwise, most of the colors are available in the art store individually, but not on Amazon.

This is a must-have for any hobbyist artist professional, someone who thinks they might like to start drawing, for someone who’s been drawing for years. High quality acrylic lightfast ink withdraw it’s waterproof. I use this for under paintings and coloring my illustrations. He’s inks are so colorful and vibrant.

I purchased this as a small splurge for my birthday and waited a long time to get it as it came from the UK. When it arrived the Amazon box was intact, but the product box was soaked with acrylic ink. The only reason the outer box was not soaked well, is that the product was shrink wrapped. Only a little bit leaked on the inside of the shipping box. The contents are 6 glass bottles of acrylic ink, with no padding, in a thin box that is shrink wrapped. The Amazon UK box had one piece of packaging paper for an overseas trip! I had planned to return the item, but my postal center estimated $50.00 to return it! It’s definitely not worth returning. So, I finally opened the box to see if any of it was salvageable. Yuck! What a mess! It was filled with gooey ink and broken glass. 2 bottles were completely shattered (black and gold). one had a cracked lid and was half full as it won’t seal (copper?). I’ve several bottles of every product in this line, except just 1 of this specific set (sans the white, as I’ve loads of those), and I absolutely LOVE them all! I also have Daler-Rowney and Royal Talens lines – almost their entire lines – and find that the Liquitex Pro line is a wonderful complement to them both. They all actually complement each other, as though they’re one ginormous line, tbh. Bold, durable, matte-drying, and have TONS of uses. If you can get a good deal on this set – and the others, too – do it!
