I previously used the Ceratec on a friend’s Honda Cr-V. Before using Ceratec, I wanted to start with a clean slate, so I added Liqui Moly engine flush into the engine, ran the car on idle for 15 min, then drained oil and replaced the filter. The drained oil was super dark, so to make sure I got all the gunk out, again, I refilled the oil with a cheaper oil of the same grade, replaced the filter, let it idle for about ten minutes, and drained it again. This time, although it wasn’t as dark as the first flush, you could see the oil wasn’t as new as it was when I poured it in10 minutes prior, so I was glad I did the second flush. So now the motor was ready for the good quality fresh oil, new filter and Ceratec. To make sure there was no fall out/accumulation of Ceratec inside engine cavities and passages, I took out enough oil from the new jug, then added the Ceratec inside the jug, turned the jug upside down a few times, this way it would be premixed before being

I use this in both 3.0T Audis, 1 S4 and 1 A6. Turbos in general consume oil, 1/2 to 1 qt between oil changes, which is normal. Cera Tec has cut that in half or better. I don’t have catch cans on them like the Camaro, so it could be reducing crank case pressure, reducing the amount of oil in the PCV system and subsequently the intake. Whatever it is doing it is working.

As a German car guy.. don’t listen to the “snake oil” guys. They’re likely just boomers who have old muscle cars or something that does not need this anyway. This stuff may or may not work, I can’t actually test anything to tell you for sure. But I can tell you, it definitely makes you THINK your car is running smoother or faster- placebo is real. Liqui Moly tested this and posted some lab results showing it worked so with how easy this is, just do it. I’ve put it in many cars, most recently my m4.

Read your owner manual. Do NOT use this in any Volkswagen engine. I do not know if this caused my problem, but upon using it in my Jetta with a 1.4L the engine apparently developed issues with its bearings and had to be replaced. I am meticulous in my maintenance, so the fact that the use of this product coincided with the engine failure is HIGHLY suspect. Volkswagen engines are EXTREMELY picky about what you use in them and the owner manual is very clear that a very specific oil be used to ensure the engine’s long term durability. That is not to say that, say, a Toyota engine or Chevy engine would not mix well with this product, but I would never use it in any European car given how specifically they engineer them. BUYER BE WARNED!

this is another amazing product from Liqui-Moly! I have a 2019 Honda Civic EX with a turbo engine and it has a little engine shake when it’s idling. I added this product after an oil change and lo and behold, I can barely feel the engine idling! the car runs so smooth even when the turbo kicks in. I also see an additional 1.5 mpg showing on the avg/mpg screen on the dash which is great. definitely worth the price!

I have a 2015 bmw 528i. Not the sportuest sedan ever but after using this, after getting an oil change, my engine became a howler. I could not believe i waited till 117k miles before i started using this insane product. My car rips smoother and is also an mpg or two more efficient even though i drive it harder now. Its like something got loose inside my engine so it revs so much better.Love this product, wish I knew about it earlier.
