The small size and quick to use without the locking button make these great as every day carry. My wife prefers to carry this one in her bag with her hair tie so they don’t go poking around with other things in her bag. I love that they’re always available with her when I need them, especially on long drives with a hot engin. Was surprised to see that she uses them more than I do. We also own the 5” with the locking button which has been demoted from every day carry to our garden shed where the kids put them to good use in the garden with the hose, bikes, patio furniture etc. Having both the 4 and 5” around at home and on the road gets our moneys worth sooner as we’re putting them to use right away.I really love the teeth on knipex cobras as they give a really good grip, and the angle groove in the teeth also help twist bolts or anything with an angle. Would recommend the longer ones like the 10” if you’re looking for more torque for stubborn joint

Small in size but can handle most jobs you throw at it. Size is awesome! I carry a Leatherman wave but having this as an EDC is nice when the Wave’s jaws on the pliers are not wide enough. Price is a little steep but it is a Knipex and will last forever.

I carry these in my pocket everyday for work and they don’t bother me at all . When it time to pull them out they get the job done on the light side of things like tightening nuts and bolts .

Good pocket pliers. Very handy. Very small and lightweight. Well made. Worth the 33 dollars? Not in my opinion.

They are small and usable, and that’s nice, but not life-changing. They are quite a bit smaller than I expected, and you don’t get the same button-operation that is on the larger versions. This is almost closer to their “alligator” style, which are changed by simply opening the handles and sliding the the top up or down (more like the traditional channel lock pliers). So a bit misleading to call these “Cobras” if you ask me.The price gouging happening with these mini Knipex tools is truly epic. (The mini pliers wrench is even worse! Seen those going for $100 or more!) And yes, I know, it’s my fault for buying them. That just means I am silly, not that they are a good value. Oh well, I consider it a novelty buy. Didn’t break the bank. But if you don’t *need* them, I’d wait until the price comes down to earth, like $10 to $15, not $30 to $50…

These are very small at around 4 inches long. I also purchased the 5 inch long version. I have a pair of 4 inch Channel Locs I used to use all of the time, but these have replaced them. They are a bit more “precise” in their build. For me, they are very handy. They may be too small for other folks.

Pro:+baby cobra plier wrench is surprisingly handy in tight spaces (under the sink to unscrew the diverted or when you don’t want to damage a work piece with too much leverage. The jaws can exert a lot of force, however.+Knipex quality, actually has more knurling and detail than the bigger versionsCons:-expensive for what they are, I mean they are great but I think $20 is about the right price.-black oxide finish is ok but doesn’t cover the jaws — mine picked up oxidation on the first use

I’ve done hvac for 10years now. So what’s in my pockets on a day to day basis has changed alot. But one thing that won’t change are these pliers. Great for caps on an ac unit or lids on cans of glue and cleaner. I wouldn’t run gas lines with them but they disappear in the pocket until needed in a pinch.

Nice to have on hand. Fits in your pocket about the size of a pocket knife.

Now part of my EDC… These get the job done in a small package!
