Great replacement for the cap that had a broken rubber strap after 9 years. Exact fit. Replacement took 15 seconds after cleaning the area around the fuel intake opening area.

Bought this for my 2013 Audi A7. The original strap finally wore through and broke. The price was very reasonable (especially compared to the price at the dealership!$$$) and I was able to replace the cap and strap with a pair of pliers in about 5 minutes. Looks great and works like a charm!!

Very happy with the product. I replaced the original because the little attachment snapped in half. Received the new gas cap and it fit perfect and had no issues with any warning lights after the install. Great product and Im sure cheaper than what the dealer will charge!

This cap is a drop in replacement for the OEM gas cap on my 2014 Audi A4. After the MIL (malfunction indicator lamp) on my dashboard came on, I researched what causes it. A google search suggested a loose gas cap. I took the car to a local repair shop and they said the cap was holding pressure and that I needed to replace the pressure sensor, which was part of the fuel pump.So they replaced the fuel pump for $820 and then the lamp came back on 4 days later. Fortunately, the shop is a reputable one and they put the old pump back in and refunded the $820. I still had an engine light problem which needed to be fixed as the car was coming up on its state inspection in 2 months. Having the light on is an automatic fail in my state.On a whim, I replaced the gas cap with one of these. It took ten minutes to install. The light went out and has been off for over a month!

Got rid of engine check light. 6-7 years later the rubber might have gone bad.Originally purchased a cheaper cap. The matieral and labeling was far off. Ended up investing in this unit.

All I had to do was swap it out, and put a little plug into the back side of the retainer to snug it up.
