Easy to hold, lock, and connect to dogs collars. Lock mechanism is easy-to-do thumb operation. 120 lb dogs have run the length of the tape and nearly yanked my shoulder out of the socket yet it’s held fast. At one point we had 5 large dogs who put it to the test multiple times a day. Have used this brand for years and continue to only use them. Last one lasted about 5 years.The only complaint is that I wish the handle was a little larger and a part rounded so I could slip my wrist through it (the handle)!and have a nice rounded area I can hold it (with my forearm strength) without gouging my wrist and arm. Even better if you can score it via Amz Warehouse at a discounted price. They are worth every penny. Don’t hesitate.Also if you can find the extra long 26’ tapes we have one of those too- put the troublemaker dog on the shorter leash and the good ones on the longer ones and it’s a great thing.

I ordered the X-small which is supposed to be for dogs up to 26 pounds (my dog is 13 pounds) and this size is too small to put a hand through the grip. My husband and I who have small to normal size hands could only fit 3 fingers into the handle, which is dangerous because it doesn’t allow a good grip on the leash, especially should your dog try to bolt or pull. This size is really only good for children walking small dogs and not for adults. Had to return it.

I had two retractable leashes before. They combined didn’t last 18 months. The handle was broken or the tape worn out. I have been using this FLEXI lease for over a year. No sign of malfunction or dysfunction yet. And the tape is still strong and intact.

I have one that I bought for my dog back in 2015 and it is working just as good today as it did when I bought it. She just had puppies and now the puppies each have one of their own. This retractable leash is extremely well made. Do not hesitate to buy one.

The overall size and ability to raise the holder of your hand are great due to having small hands and control is better when needing to, the only issue is that after some time of using the lock feature, it does end up getting jammed and it take sometime a bit to unclick it now.

The media could not be loaded. It definitely is the length stated! It has held up well in the warm and really cold days.Oh and even in the strong windy days (35mph) it would swing the stretched out Leash but it would retract back normally which is wonderful! Never got tangled or pulled the leash out.Where I live we have groundhogs and hares, my dog is reactive to them and even if he tries to pull the leash, it does not or has not broken or lost the retraction. Great find!

I have tried quite a few of these products. No matter what they say, all of them get tangled up inside the spool and won’t retract when you need it most. You must fiddle with it pulling it in and out before it retracts properly.
