The GP Grip Series is the original ergonomic “winged grip” design that started a comfort revolution for cyclists using flat style handlebars.

GP5 Features and Specifications

FULL-SIZE COMFORT BAR END / CLAMP*: Allows the bar end and grip angle to be adjusted independently for a custom fit. Can be easily readjusted as needed. Bar end / clamp eliminates twisting once tightened. *Not for use with carbon bars.

GERMAN INNOVATION: Developed in-house in Koblenz Germany by designers, ergonomic scientists and engineers who are passionate about cycling… just like you.

WINGED SHAPE: Reduces overall pressure on the hands and the ulnar nerve area while supporting the wrist in a comfortable, ergonomically ideal position. GP Series grips eliminate hand pain, numb fingers, sore wrists and forearms.

22.2 DIAMETER: Fit standard MTB bar diameter at the grip mounting area.

FOR SHIFTER TYPES:

Standard Trigger Shifters: Right and Left grips are long.

Gripshift / Dual Twist Shifters: Right and Left grips are shortened.

Rohloff / Nexus / XX1 / Single Twist Shifters: Right grip is shortened and Left is long.

Optimized Pressure Management and Optimized Hand Positions


Problem: Soft Tissue Pain Excessive pressure on the sensitive areas of the hands result in numb fingers.	Solution: Soft Tissue Comfort With an anatomically optimized design, Ergon grips offer 100% contact with the hand surface area, versus traditional round grips, offer only 60% contact.	Problem: Nerve Pain Excessive curvature of the wrist leads to undesired kinks in the carpal tunnel nerve. This results in a burning pain in the hand or forearm.	Solution: Nerve Relief By correcting the hand position, the carpal tunnel nerve is relieved and pain is eliminated.
