Worked perfect to fix my fuel door on my 2008 bmw 328 xi. It literally took about 45 seconds to disassemble the broken one and reinstall the new one I was more than pleased with my purchase. Also another thing I really liked was that it came with the rubber piece on top with a little spring part so that way I didn’t have to reuse my old one that was on my car currently. But this is definitely a great alternative than buying the exact same part for the dealership for almost triple the price . Also I’m no mechanic and I was able to do it myself even my wife was really surprised how quick it took me .If you have any questions about this product feel free to ask me.Also if you felt my review to be helpful please check this was helpful… Thanks!

if you have a system in your car these snap way to easy gone through three, I just ended taking piece out all together and taping it up.

This item fits perfectly and works as designed for a few months before failing. I purchased in March of 2019 and it is non-functional as of August 20, 2019. This cannot be genuine BMW, IMO.

They keep on breaking. I’ve bought four of them over the last 6 months and they’ve all broken. Only difference now is that they want you to pay return shipping for ashen it breaks. Horrible!

This fuel door latch is perfect for my 2011 BMW 335i sedan. It was so easy to replace.I broke the latch while rotating a fuel nozzle to a vertical position. Just enough of the nozzle caught the latch and snapped the plastic.The broken latch easily pulled straight out. The new one slid into position just like the original. It’s been there for a month without a hitch. Good luck.
