This small latch keeps the fuel door closed, also is the popper that opens fuel door. Used on both coupe’s and sedans.

I got this when my fuel door ejector became defective. I found it strange for this unit to go bad so quickly , I have a 2008 3 series BMW. The unit is easy to remove as it snaps out from the body of the car easily. Replacement is just as easy, just snaps back into place.I am curious as to the lifespan of the replacement unit. Time will tell.

Easy plug and play replacement for my ’08 BMW 135i convertible. Have only had it in for roughly 600 miles so can’t judge on long-term reliability, but so far so good.

Easy and fit perfectly kind of pricey for what it is!!

Arrived on time, install was easy and the fuel door now functions normally. Longevity is the only unknown at this point. But compared to what this job would cost at a shop or dealer it’s well worth it already!

This wasn’t the problem after all, but auper easy to install now i have an extra one. Came quick. No complaints.

Very easy to install. You just pop the old one out and pop new in.

Save going to a BMW dealer and paying higher purchase price and especially higher labor cost. Very easy to install. Just use a small flat tip screwdriver and carefully remove the old popper. Then, the new popper just pushes in place. Less than five minutes is needed to replace this fuel filler door popper.

My fuel door would not stay shut. It was hard to believe that this little thing had a spring that would go bad, I was skeptical but when it arrived it was an exact match and it took 3-5 seconds to squeeze and pull old one out and push the new one in for a snug factory fit and fix. Bmw 535i E60

The mechanism is supposed to be spring loaded so that when you push your gas door in, the spring inside this item pops your gas door open. Well when I installed the item it stayed in the open position and wouldn’t allow me to close the fuel door.
