There are a ton of cheap Chinese parts out there. Ive bought a couple only to have them break as early as the first time in use or on installing. I found this and too a gamble that it would fit my 2016 Audi Q5. It fits perfectly! You just need the clip cover from the original as it is not included. otherwise it looks identical to the original. So thankful this is on Amazon and got it quickly

I was hesitant to buy this since several similar products all had poor reviews, but I went ahead anyway and bought it. It arrived in a small padded envelope with no instructions, but it was pretty self explanatory. The old one popped of very easily and the new one popped on even easier. All told it took about 25 seconds to replace. I have a 2010 A4 and it fit perfectly.

While I was definitely annoyed that this broke on my 2015 Audi S4 to begin with, I must say it was designed very well and is incredibly easy to replace when they do break! I got a few at once just so if another breaks, I already have some on hand. I’ll admit though, in no other car have I ever broken the visor clips.Note: there is a cover/cap that goes over the clip piece that also serves to hold the clip piece in place (they have push pins that spreads the fingers to hold into the headliner). This cover/cap piece is NOT included in this kit. But unless that is what broke in your car, you should be able to reuse the one that was there.

This was super easy to replace after my son broke the first one. Replacement looks and works just like the original. Replacement can literally be done with no tools, though a small flat blades screwdriver does help. Just pop off the outer shell, pull out the pins and the clip comes right out. Put in the new clip, push the pins into place and pop on the new shell. Done in under a minute.

It fits! I am thinking that the original design is not as robust as it should be. I think these will break at the same spot as the original ones. This is not the fault of these replacement pieces. I’m just disappointed at Audi for the flimsy design. Well I guess I know where to come for more of these. BTW – installation is straight forward. Just remember to remove the cover carefully since you need to use this same cover after replacing the hook. There are 2 notches in the inside of the cover that is designed to be push into the hook mechanism to hold the whole thing in place.

When you look at the broken visor clip that you need to replace, you can see that it’s pretty much designed to break! When it happened, I took a quick look at the bracket and was frustrated that there were no apparent fasteners or any obvious method to change this. Thankfully, we live in a YouTube world, where you can see that the outer housing of the clip pops off with the right technique to expose the main part of the bracket below.I got this replacement part very quickly (in these COVID times, Express delivery can take a week), in just 3 days. It was a perfect fit and replacement. The Audi logo was visible inside the part, so this was the real thing and was exactly like the old one in every way. It’s got a pretty clever screwless mounting system – the main part of the clip has two expanding prongs (of different diameter, so you can’t install it wrong). You put it in the two holes in the roof, and the outer cover clips back on, which causes the prongs to expand

I specifically asked the seller if this would fit my car and was told yes. I sent the make, model and year: Audi Q5 2012.This does NOT fit my car. When I put in the clip it fell out from the slightest pull.I looked at the back and compared it to my original and low and behold the numbers are different, including the clips end piece that is not wide spread as mine are.I had these replaced at the dealership one time before and all they did was pull out the broken clip by putting a thin card behind and gently wedging it to loosen the cover then the same for the clip. The clip was a little harder to remove as it should be so that it stays in place. I did the same thing to remove this one before putting in the replacement that does NOT fit. What really makes me angry over this is wasting my time. That’s why I ask the seller questions and give specifics on what I need to replace.

Perfect fit for a fraction of the cost. Mounting Pins on the back seemed a bit smaller than OEM and were a bit loose. Original is two piece. This replacement did not come with the outside cap (the visible part). I was able to use the original cap and snapped it over the replacement mounting portion. It snapped right on and caused it to be a stronger firmer fit. Can’t tell the difference from OEM. Looks and works great. Will buy again and highly recommend

So, we are an Audi family. Have multiple Audi’s currently and had in the past. A few years ago, my wife’s Q5 sun visor clip broke off. She brought it to the dealership and got it fixed. She said she saw the technician do it in less than a minute. 30 bucks for the fix. Ok. No problem. Until a few weeks ago, when same thing happened to my A4. When I did some online search on this, it seemed fairly easy thing to fix. Got on Amazon, found this piece and ordered it. It literally took me one and a half minute (slightly slower than the Audi technician ^_^). Now my sun visor is clipped away nicely instead of bouncing around. 10 dollars for the part. saved myself a trip to the dealership, time, and 20 dollars. DIY power!!

Despite an answered question indicating this item would fit a 2018 S5 convertible, it’s not the case. The “plug” sizes were different. The correct part number for the 2018 S5 convertible (and I assume A5 since the interiors are identical) is:8V7-857-562-4PK. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find this part on Amazon, so had to go elsewhere — but I can confirm the 8V7-857-562-4PK visor bracket was the right one.
