When you look at the broken visor clip that you need to replace, you can see that it’s pretty much designed to break! When it happened, I took a quick look at the bracket and was frustrated that there were no apparent fasteners or any obvious method to change this. Thankfully, we live in a YouTube world, where you can see that the outer housing of the clip pops off with the right technique to expose the main part of the bracket below.I got this replacement part very quickly (in these COVID times, Express delivery can take a week), in just 3 days. It was a perfect fit and replacement. The Audi logo was visible inside the part, so this was the real thing and was exactly like the old one in every way. It’s got a pretty clever screwless mounting system – the main part of the clip has two expanding prongs (of different diameter, so you can’t install it wrong). You put it in the two holes in the roof, and the outer cover clips back on, which causes the prongs to expan

So, we are an Audi family. Have multiple Audi’s currently and had in the past. A few years ago, my wife’s Q5 sun visor clip broke off. She brought it to the dealership and got it fixed. She said she saw the technician do it in less than a minute. 30 bucks for the fix. Ok. No problem. Until a few weeks ago, when same thing happened to my A4. When I did some online search on this, it seemed fairly easy thing to fix. Got on Amazon, found this piece and ordered it. It literally took me one and a half minute (slightly slower than the Audi technician ^_^). Now my sun visor is clipped away nicely instead of bouncing around. 10 dollars for the part. saved myself a trip to the dealership, time, and 20 dollars. DIY power!!

Perfect fit for my 2013 S4. Really wished Audi designed these better as there is a critical flaw in the oem design.

Despite an answered question indicating this item would fit a 2018 S5 convertible, it’s not the case. The “plug” sizes were different.The correct part number for the 2018 S5 convertible (and I assume A5 since the interiors are identical) is:8V7-857-562-4PK. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find this part on Amazon, so had to go elsewhere — but I can confirm the 8V7-857-562-4PK visor bracket was the right one.

Bought for a b8 s4 and it matches the others perfectly easy to install took about a minute and a small flathead and that’s it

In order to remove the old visor clip you have to pop the cover off first. There is a small screwdriver/interior tool slot on one side. The cover is thin approx 2mm so make sure you only catch that to remove the cover. It has small pins that hold this piece in place. Once it is out everything else is a breeze. Fits perfect and looks like the original.

Product delivered on time and as advertised. The broken clip housing was easy to remove by using a plastic pry tool or putty knife. Removed clip by gently wiggling it free. Made sure orientation of new clip was correct and pressed into mounting holes. The new clip is black and does not include the matching housing, but my interior is light grey so I reused the existing one. Yeah, I could have attempted a return to get the correct color, but at this price for an OEM part I am ok with the slight mismatch in color. Sun visor clips in perfectly and works well again!
