Bought this a few months back for an antenna attached to an off-road roof rack. I like to tilt the antenna back when on the back roads so it doesn’t get beat up. This mount has taken the brunt of the abuse and has held up through crashing brush and tree branches all summer so far. Got my fingers crossed the little plastic handle doesn’t break, but that’s the only plastic on it. The rest of the mount seems to be all hefty metal. I’m adding another antenna so I’ll be buying another one soon!

I went cheap and bought a bingfu mount. It did not last long and got flimsy. Rhino rack mount is beef ?.

I am a mechanical engineer. This doesn’t mean I know much about radio, or anything really…., but when I look at this, I am incredibly disappointed and feel like my money was taken.1. The mount hole size is 17 mm which makes it a little difficult to adapt a standard 3/8 CB stud. You will have to use washers. You will also struggle to find a right angle 259 connector that does not interfere with the release mechanism unless you buy a premade, low-profile cable. I had to make multiple trips to my local radio store to find something that works. Another 10 mm of clearance and this would be a non-issue for any connector.2. The mount is made in China. I would understand the expensive price if it were produced locally in Australia or USA, but for being so expensive, this means Rhino rack is pocketing probably half the profits.3. The mount is heavy. While this is a good thing and something to appreciate, you need to be very careful if you drop the mount during install o

Great option for WeBoost on my Promaster roof rack. I keep antenna in full 4′ mode & just lay it down when necessary.

This mounting bracket is expensive but well worth it if you don’t what to keep replacing cheaper ones. It works just as it’s advertised. It will work with the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars with the included hardware perfectly without modifying anything.

The media could not be loaded. So this Rhino Rack adjustable antenna mount works as it’s intended. I can adjust the antenna on my roof rack to lay flat on the trails or straight up at camp.So why did I give it 3 stars? The wing nut on the rear and the hole it goes in is showing signs of rust (has been installed less than 60 days). Also, there it play in the unit, even with the wing nut securing it. (A lot more if it was left out).I will probably swap this out for a stainless steel wing nut, and repaint the parts. See if I can limit the rusting, maybe a dollop of anti seize or something.

Great design – easy to fold/unfold and optional screw can be used to tighten the hold. When the antenna is folded, I recommend a strap for the long end so the antenna doesn’t bounce.
