I have loved and still do love my knit picks, BUT they don’t make the short tips and their cord is not super flexible. I have terrible hand pain and am on a sweater jag at the moment in a quest to find a less painful way to knit sleeves I purchased these needles. Oh what a relief it is. It is so much easier to knit narrow items like sleeves and socks with the addi lace shorts.I like the way the short needles fit in my hand I did not expect this, put some how they are more comfortable. I do find attaching the needles and detaching to be a painful thing to do and usually have my husband help me. But I have seriously bad hands I would not count this against the product.

I will start by saying that I love all of my Addi needle sets and I already have at least 3+ sets of blue lace cords. They are nice and flexible, and they stay put until you purposely un-click them. Marvelous products.However, I wanted a RED set (like Addi makes for their European markets) so that when knitting with two circulars in a project, it would be easier to tell them apart. (I have Addi Lace Rockets and Addi Turbo sets, Addi Click Crochet, Addi FlipSticks, Addi Flexi-Flips, etc.) Please don’t believe the description by this seller, as they sent BLUE cords instead, which I could have purchased for a lower price from other sellers. Grrr. So the product gets a 5, and the seller gets a 1 due to false advertising; the average is a 3

I wanted the red cords but got blue instead, so… not quite what I wanted. Very good quality, and the lengths are printed on the cords themselves. If you have trouble connecting cords to tips and ensuring that they are locked the Hiya Hiya Needle Grips have been a real sanity saver.

beautiful finish on the needles, hold yarn well but have to watch they don’t fall out of the last couple of stitches. Tips nice, don’t split yarn. Cords tend to be stiff and hold the curl, making the longer ones a little awkward. Connection easy, disconnect not so. I’m sure it will be better when I’ve done if a few times and learn the knack.I’ve only used these with Shetland wool so far, I will try another type yarn soon.They would have a five but just didn’t wow me. I could feel the yarn pulling over the joins, not as smooth as I would have liked. All in all a good buy.

I love Addi needles. One of my cables didn’t stay together anymore so I needed another set. This set is great. I know I can return the poor functioning cable to the company but this is easier and quicker.

I make a lot of mistakes, so having these saves time. I insert a very tiny crochet hook through the slot and use it to pull the yarn through. So far it’s been holding up nicely.
