Works as described. A little hard to write anything but a five-star or one-star review for something like this – either it works and your bike doesn’t get stolen, or it doesn’t, and your bike gets stolen. My experience was the former. Commuted to work and back on my road bike, value upwards of $2,000, definitely an attractive piece for a bike thief, in Sarasota FL, a place anybody from the area can tell you is a hotbed of bike theft. Never had any problems. Comes with a mount to attach to your frame, which fastens down nicely and works as it should. Absolutely no complaints here.

I bought this to lock up my scooter and it fits perfectly around the frame of my Honda Rukus. Its got some great reviews online so I made the leap and Im glad I did because its the rite lock for my moto.

What? How could I give 5 stars in all 3 areas but only 3 overall stars? Read on…First off, if you can afford an ABUS lock, you’ll definitely be happy with your purchase. Solid, easy to use, thoughtful design, etc. And I’m even more than happy that this time, buying the looong 12 inch U-lock that really makes a difference. BUT… I must profess that I am very unhappy with the ABUS customer service 🙁 You see, I lost my last U-lock assembly and tried contacting their online customer service. One week later, I receive an email response that they will be contacting me shortly. Waiting another month, checking my spam folder… still no response so I finally just bought a entire new lock. So much for going to the effort to initially register my serial number as though they would support the lock in the event of loss or damage! See for yourself – go on their website and TRY to follow the process when you’ve lost your keys, etc.

Like: easy to use, security.Dislike: no included lock holder.I ride my bike everywhere and i don’t want to call an uber bc my bike is gone. This is probably overkill bc my kids throw down their bikes on the sidewalk and not locking at all. I feel better because theyll steal the other bikes before whipping out the grinder to steal mine.

I loved this lock until I dropped the crossbar on my garage floor and it fell apart. It took a while to figure out how the pieces fit together again, and now I have the crossbar zip tied together. I would give this lock 5 stars except it is fragile.Update…seven months after the drop, the lock stopped working completely. The key opened the lock, but now won’t re-lock it. I will have to buy a new lock.

This is locking a fat tire folding bike and it just fits. I’m in an area that’s not very crime ridden so it’s fine by itself. However I do also have a cable to use in combination. So far it’s been outstanding.

This bike lock is worth the money if you want good security for your bike. It’s easy to unlock/lock and extremely tough. The only way someone can get through this is if they use a very high powered saw.

Wanted one of these for a long time for my expensive e-bike…worth every penny. Very tough. Great reach, keys work well…have a Kryptonite and I hate the keys.Good coatings to prevent scratchs.
