I bought these to keep in my pocket for quick use in a shop invironment. Previously I was carrying the 125mm.The 125mm are much more capable and not much harder to carry. These 100mm are too small to get any leverage with and your hand is too close to the work when gripping them, increasing the odds of busting your knuckles or getting cut. I also prefer the button adjustment. It’s easy to lose your setting when using the 100mm on multiple similar fasteners.

cool little tool, smller than your hand,I keep in my small jean pocket its great for little fixes, battery nuts, motorcycle stuff, whatever. So much better than a mutli tool plier. this plus a double sided screwdriver can get you out of some stuff.4 star because its expensive here, can be found cheaper elsewhere

What the headline says, this is a great tool, but it is over-priced for what you get. As far as I know, it is unique in the market and that might explain the current price. Hopefully, Knipex will bring pricing on this model more inline with their other products.Other reviewers are correct when they say to get the next closet model unless you absolutely need the most compact size.

I’ll start by saying these things are expensive [~$60 USD] and elusive. However, this is the best price I could find from a reputable seller. I bought this as a companion to my Cobra XS Mini.As expected, Knipex uses high quality materials. They are easily adjusted and the jaws remain parallel when opening and closing. They are the perfect size for hard-to-reach fasteners. If you are looking for a set of micro pliers, this is an excellent option [or the Cobra XS]. I will most likely purchase the 125mm counterparts as well

  5. ST8RZR (verified owner)

Yes it’s a little expensive, but the quality is outstanding. Feels nice in my hand. Gonna be great to go with my Knipex 4″ Cobra pliers.

  6. Jeff (verified owner)

A little bit pricy but you definitely get what you pay for. I carry them in a small belt holster and they have gotten me out of a bind several times.

  7. Mitch (verified owner)

It feels good in my hand. Excellent ergonomic engineering. My only concern is that it’s smaller than I thought it would be. My bad in not paying closer attention to the description. Hopefully, it will do the few jobs I have in mind for wwii Jeep restoration

  8. Duke (verified owner)

These pliers are precision machined, everything about them is perfection and they work really good.

  9. TechGuru101 (verified owner)

I repair medical equipment and bought this to carry with me daily, as part of my compact tool case. Long story short, in 3 months I have never used it. It is too small to really grab the handle, so I always end up using my small crescent wrench instead. Don’t get me wrong, this is a nicely built quality tool, I just don’t find it practical to use, plus it costs $$$.

  10. David B (verified owner)

I have a number of Knipex tools, including the full-sized pliers wrenches, but wanted something for my travel toolkit for an upcoming road trip. This is the perfect choice. When I got it, I thought it was more like a over-priced toy, but I was wrong. This is very well made and totally usable, despite the XS size. Coupled with the Knipex Cobra XS pliers, I am ready for virtually any task that requires a pliers or wrench.
