I have always used the Kyser capo’s for all my guitars. I recently purchased a Godin A6 Ultra, which uses 10 gauge acoustic strings, and the Kyser capo’s, not matter where in between frets it was or how it was positioned, would make the guitar go out of tune. It would go out of tune so bad the guitar wasn’t playable with the Kyser capo on. I did a lot of research and tweaking to my Godin, but nothing was helping. I could have used thicker strings, which I tried, but the Godin didn’t like anything thicker than the 10 gauge. I read an article that talked about this G7th Performance capo, which at first just sounded like an advertisement because I was very skeptical a different capo would fix the problem, especially because it was much more expensive than any capo I have ever purchased. So I researched this exact G7th Performance capo some more and found that many people were saying the same thing about how great this capo is. So, I ordered one figuring I could ret

I love the design and everything except it does not completely lock down the strings and some buzz. Switch to my 30+ year old Keiser and my new Keiser, which neither make the strings buzz.Maybe there is something I’m doing wrong. It just seems like the curve is not quite right. It’s all my quitars. I notice it obviously worse on a Les Paul Custom. Nice design; it just needs tweaking a bit.

I really love the G7th capo and feel it’s the best performance capo I’ve used by a long shot. This one holds the tuning better than the others I’ve owned. The last version I have works well too but taking it off is clunky at times, whereas this one is lower profile, lighter, and is much easier to put on/take off. It’s not cheap for a capo but it’s worth the money.

One of the best pieces of hardware I’ve ever witnessed. Smoothest action, non invasive, and the most useful capo I’ve ever seen. Bravo on reinventing the wheel successfully. Not often I’m impressed like this.

I have 6 different capos which all work, each with its own quirks. This is the only one that doesn’t pull the guitar out of tune no matter which fret it’s on. It’s worth the cost.

Solidly made but awkward to use and doesn’t seem to grip tight enough for electric

Received my capo damaged and the SELLER was FAST to reply and fix the problem for my situation, very happy with the customer service overall.Love this brand of capos totally recommended for electric and acoustic guitars.

Easy to use. Keeps guitar in tune when used. Other capos required tuning guitar when used. This one removes need to retune.

I had been using Kaiser Quick Clip Capos for a long time with the usual problem of having to make minor tuning adjustments. When I read the advertisments for the G7, I thaught of Capo Nirvana. First, I was suprised at the cheap packaging for something in this price range. Well, I’m not playing the package so. I opened it up and proceded to tune my Taylor 914ce and give it a try. There were no instructions included so, I looked at some youtube videos. Seemed simple enough. I clipped it on below the 5th fret and everything but the high E string seemed OK. I manuvered it around a bit and the High E worked sometime but then, the low E buzzed. I played with this thing for over an hour and came to the conclusion that If it can’t work on a high end Taylor, It isn’t going to work on my other Taylors or Martins. All my guitars are high end guitars and I have never had a Capo as bad as this one. I boxed it up and sent it back. I gave it 2 stars only because it LOOKS nice. O

It did work for me in solving some intonation issues, but still have to do some tuning with the capo in place. A little pricey.
