I’m going to be the first to not give this a 5 star rating. Yeah, I’m that guy. Hate me, flame me, troll me with “unhelpfuls” all you want, but Wera’s not-perfect review is a product of their own success.I am the proud owner of a few Wera products and this is the only one that isn’t “perfect” in my opinion. It isn’t perfect simply because of the bit adaptor. It is not a Rapidaptor. It is a magnet. And it ain’t that a great a magnet at that. That is, the magnet isn’t any better than the bit adaptors’ magnets that come from those BORG (Big Orange Retail Giant) places for way less. Now, with that said, look how beefy this adaptor is! It is probably going to hold up a long time. And mine is going to hold up a REALLY long time because I’m probably not going to use it. Fortunately, for me, I have a few Wera Repiadaptors that are going to hold these bits.With the adaptor out of the way lets get to the bits….they’re excellent! They hold a screw quite well and last and last and last. And that’s where the value comes in: not having to replace bits as often. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought a bit from the BORG and it was done before my project was complete. I’m still on the same Philips #2 and I can’t tell you how many projects I’ve done with these bits.Some of the security bits are things I’ll probably never use, being an American woodworker and all. But I’ll gladly pay extra for quality in the bits I do use simply to have a smaller amount of toolbox allocated to bits that don’t fall apart.

I came across these guys (Wera) some time ago and every tool or tool set I’ve purchase I noticed a few things. (1) quality of the product is number one and quality of the packaging and storage components is above average as well (2) attention to detail and good design.

Annoying that the set does not include any flat heads, but I understand what that is. I picked up the diamond version as well which means I need to carry two or probably swatch a couple of bits into this set. The impaktor is useless. It does not hold the bits, and I end up just using the plain magnet holder thingy on my Bosch Impact driver (love that thing), It is easy to get at the bits, nice to have two of each of the bits I use.

I was extremely impressed with this set the moment I opened it, and only impressed more as I used it. It’s so conveniently sized that I misplaced the set. Bits are supposed to be expendable pieces, but these are perfectly machined out of strong materials, and still hadn’t shown any signs of wear last I saw of my set. The magnetic ring works as expected, although I don’t always use it. I use a 12V impact driver for 95% of my needs, but the bits hold up just as well with an 18V/20V, and I’m confident that they’d easily survive even more aggressive drivers.Even though I know my first set is lost somewhere in the house, I’m so sold on the bit-check that I’m buying a second one, and crossing my fingers that I come across my first set to use as a spare.

I am used to getting items from Amazon very quickly. This took quite a while and the tracking information was inaccurate. The bits seem to be very high quality, but the magnet in the bit holder is weak.A number have fallen out when being used. Luckily I could find them, given the cost of each. I do expect the set to hold up a long time, so it is probably worth the premium German tool price.

Wish it came with T27 and some others, but overall the bits work very well and the case is nice.

Broke two bits in light hobby use in under a year. I figured I’d give them a shot because they had strong reviews, but the price is absurd if I still need to replace them regularly. If they were 1/4 the price I would be happy with them because quality was reasonable, I’ll just buy something cheaper from here out.

Researched the best driver bits online. Tnis name kept coming out. I know it’s not very familiar here in the US. But several other countries love these bits and company. This perfect case fits the amazing bits in a compact, easy to carry case. So far I’ve put this to real world working tests, and I never used such strong bits before. I wish they had more tools and accessories here, I would buy them immediately. Paired with my dewalt driver, there no task these can’t Handel. Sad to say they are vastly superior to the ones you can can get in a dewalt case or package if bits.

Wow, these are probably some of the best bits in the world. I would just buy them already if you’re considering them…they grip fasteners like glue or like a magnet, allowing you to do to very precise work. But they also work well in an impact and last very well!
