So far I am really liking this sheath. I purchased it for my Rangergrip 78 SAK and it has worked perfectly for it. The sheath is more made for your one handed opener SAKS and the larger / longer SAKS. I put my Huntsman in it and it has a bit too much room to bounce around in.The Good:Nice mounting options. You can have it ride lower by running your belt through the top loop formed with the hook and loop or you can have it wear higher by running it through the bottom. I run this on a 1.50 inch belt and a 1.75 inch belt just fine.Nice OD / Forest ish Green Color and high quality Victorinox image on it.Its light, with a very waxed nylon feel to itThe Could Be Bad-Im not confident that the stitching will hold long term. So far it has but the stitching used is a very thin thread and it does not convey confidence. It is holding up fine now with no fraying.Overall great fit for Rangergrip 78 and similar sized knives.

Nice lightweight sheath made with a seemingly durable material. Well thought out and easy to use. I like it better than any of the other Victorinox pouches I’ve seen. Adjusts easily to different size knives or multi tools. Good strong velcro so unlikely to disgorge its contents inadvertently, while still making it easy to access. Unfortunately, the vendor placed an adhesive sticker on the outside logo which marred the finish somewhat, but that has no bearing on the sheath itself. if I had a quibble, it would be the thread used to sew the velcro through seems a little light. I will apply some seam grip just to protect it from abrasion. Can’t really give a durability rating, having not used it yet, but will venture Four Stars just on first impressions. Otherwise, very pleased with this purchase and will probably pick up more of these.

Qualify item. I use it for a RangerGrip 79. I put a lanyard on my knife with a small 1 inch ferro rod. The knife and lanyard fit in the case.I also added a 1inch ferro rod on the string on the outside of the case.
