Everyone’s shape and size is different, so your mileage will vary. But I tried lots and lots of saddles from Bontrager and WTB in various sizes and thicknesses before settling on the Pure. I use it on both my Santa Cruz Tallboy C S and my Trek Checkpoint SL7. It’s comfortable, and the titanium version is reasonably lightweight.

I replaced a Brooks saddle with this on my commuter because I wanted something weatherproof and cheap in case it was stolen, and I admittedly didn’t have high hopes for comfort. But it’s much better than expected! There’s just the right amount of cushion so you don’t feel “bouncy” but still can ride comfortably without bike shorts. The curvature of the saddle forms nicely and is perfect for a commuter. Definitely a great budget option!
