Abus Granit Sledg 77 Web Disc Lock
The Granit Sledg 77 brake disc lock is a compact yet hefty chunk of temper hardened steel designed to keep your motorcycle safe. The lock is wrapped in a soft plastic cover and comes with a carrying bag for easy stowing.
Features:
– 13 mm steel bolt- The “sliding mechanism” allows the lock to be compact and easy to mount
– Soft plastic cover for better handling and to prevent paintwork damges on the rim
– The bolt, lock body as well as supporting elements of the locking mechanism are made of special hardened steel
– ABUS X-Plus cylinder for highest protection against manipulations, e.g. picking
– Two keys are supplied with the lock, one LED light key
– A Memory Cable is included as a reminder to prevent an unintended ride off with the bike still locked

Good front brake lock for 2018 KTM Duke 390. It’s a solid block that’s easy to slip on and off the stock brake rotor with the provided key. It’s great that it also comes with a spare key, and one of them has an LED light for dark situations. Small and light enough to throw in my backpack for the duration of the ride.I wanted a rear brake lock because it is less feasible to remove the rear wheel in an attempted theft, but the rear wheel has extra structure that extends over the available openings in the stock rear brake rotor. The lock pin’s diameter is too large to fit through any of the rotor’s drilled holes. I was unable to use this lock for my rear wheel. Otherwise, works as intended.

Looks like it would do the job but had to return it as it would not fit on my Ducati Supersport S. If you have a bike with large diameter front brake rotors and single sided swing arm in back (rotor inside wheel) then this probably will not fit on your bike. But if it will fit on your bike then it would probably be a deterrent to some thieves.

In a matter of moments my Motorcycle is locked and unlocked. Very visible with Neon yellow/green webbing. An easy deterrent to many.

The lock itself is substantial. Heavy and solid. This one could not be easily broken with a pry bar like many other disc locks. It would be easier for a thief to cut the actual brake rotor than the lock.Yes, a thief could still defeat this, like any lock. But the point is to making it take longer to do and be more inconvenient for them. To deter them. This would hopefully make them move along to an easier target.There is one downside, and that is the included tether. It is much too short. It barely reaches the handlebar on my cruiser bike, and does not reach on my adv bike. The tether reminds you that the lock is there, so you don’t try to ride off with it still locked. It is also a visual display for a would-be thief to know it’s locked up. But to use the tether, I’m going to need to add an extension to it.

This fits my 2014 BMW RnineT. It does not fit on the rear wheel (or maybe I just haven’t found a spot for it yet) but it fits on the front wheel just fine. Heavier than meets the eye and especially hard to get off. No need for an alarm because it’s mostly likely to drive off thieves just because it’s so sturdy. Gave it 4 stars because it does not fit my rear wheel but overall a great buy!

This is a heavy, sturdy lock, but it doesn’t fit the Volador electric bike, so I had to send it back. There’s not enough room behind disc for it to fit.

This lock didn’t fit my rear wheel as I was expecting because the unit is too beefy so had to put it in the front wheel. Far from ideal as about half a secure on the front and much easier to get around so I’ll have to get something for the rear. A smaller disc break lock or d lock or padlock. But the unit is beefy and would be easier to go through the disc than the lock itself.
