I think years of using ballpoints and rollerballs had shied me away from trying out an extra fine nib earlier. I absolutely dislike extra fine rollerballs because they don’t write smooth. However, I needed a nib that didn’t put down as much ink on my papers at work to avoid ghosting on the printer paper as much as possible.I’m so glad I bought this! I love the fine line it puts down and the tactile feedback I can feel with it when writing. It’s working wonderfully with my Pelikan Historical Königsblau ink. I’m glad I gave it a chance.

I like the inks that this set comes with. I havent tried the blue ink yet. I write but mostly draw with it. I meant to get the safari but I went by the tip and I wanted the medium nib. So now I have the Al-Star instead. The ink is easy to refill with a little force. Its the product that keeps on giving.
